  • 3D Brows founder Patty Willardsen simplifies setting needle depth, understanding needle hang and speed.
    When it comes to needle hang everyone will have a bit of variation in how far out they like their needle to ride. This means how much needle is showing from the end of the cartridge. Although there will be variation, the variation will be slight. If your needle is too far out you won’t get ink to deposit into the skin. If the needle is not out far enough you will get a puddle of ink, and not have clear view of where you are working.

    Do you use the same machine for microblading to do ombré powdered brows?

    • @Petra-R
      @Petra-R Před 3 měsíci

      Microblading is done with a blade manuell, not with a machine. And yes, with this kind of machine you do powder brows

    Does the needle bounce in and out of the cartridge? I can’t tell from the video and am wondering if that’s how it’s supposed to work.

    Your explanation is very nice and useful. Thank you. Please talk about inks and explain how to use them, dilute them, and ways to correct color, please.

      Great questions. We will have a pigment video discussing your questions within the next 3-weeks.

    What decent PMU machine would you use if it was only going to be used on you, I’m not going to do it professionally. Thanks. ♥️♥️♥️

    What do you mean with „Mark it with a sharpie where the needle is writing?“ at about 1:30

    • @3DBrowsAcademy
      @3DBrowsAcademy  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Great question. Since all cartridges vary a little to where the needle rides, we crate a line with a sharpie to show where the needle is riding within the cartridge. This line will provide a visual guide to where your needle is coming out of the cartridge.

    I like to tattoo. Is this machine good for that? I thought it might be good for doing little intricate hand or finger tattoos for example! 🤷‍♂

    • @3DBrowsAcademy
      @3DBrowsAcademy  Před 4 měsíci

      The machine we use in the video is a digital pen designed for PMU. If your tattooing you should consider a machine more specific to the type of tattooing you plan to do.
