I have never seen a dry tool route so sustained and grueling, it was exhausting just to watch. The stamina that he displayed was genuinely remarkable. Very well done.
Absurd level of strength, control and precision, you were calm and steady all the way trough it’s actually insane. A whole movie could have been made out of that climb. I can barely imagine all the hours of training to achieve something like this. Congrats!

I'm sorry if this is an ignorant question, but why do you wear ice shoes while dry tooling instead of climbing shoes? Are there skills within the discipline that rely on the spikes on the shoes?
Never drytooled before but i think they use ice climbing shoes since you can hold onto smaller holds compared to climbing shoes.
