That hinge is what makes the step-back so dangerous because the defender is already forced back a step, and then when the baller handler pulls a step-back the defender has even more ground to recover from.
Also allows the player to use his shoulders to attack defenders hip... sharp angles and hard to stop!
Bro this dude make videos that answer so many questions that you wont get anywhere else 👍🏾
And they’re short too, not just 30 mins of talking. 5 min short and accurate providing advice
Upright always felt weird to me while dribbling. But once you get that comfort zone it becomes deadly. Just like a rhythm type of movement while you're dribbling.
I’ve been watching you for a while and kept seeing this “Coleman Ayers” name pop up. Thought it was someone you were training. Until I realized: “ohhh, this dude is Coleman Ayers” 😂
real gamechanger.
never knew the science behind it but i learnt this just from studying westbrook.
You change your way!! You've got a marvelous knowledge on the basketball bro!! I'm really happy to follow you on CZcams. Thank you very much, cause I understand more deeply the basic and others skills on your channel.
See you soon
Thanks for the breakdown, this is also great for working out for vertical jump.
Ayy bro I did not expect him to look how he does at all
Please do some off the ball workouts or breakdowns.
Bro your vids are insane keep it up
Love all your videos, simple to understand but still in depth. We spend so much time talking about and teaching how to put the ball in the hoop. Could you go over mechanics, ideas ect on how to stop all these explosive players we have created! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the knowledge
Can't find any other videos like this one. Great job! This is a must do on offense. Easier to get through someone(especially those that body you), because when you attack one side, they have to open up because you are already low and they can't react quick enough...
I always had this question, thanks
Interesting title but I needed this video nonetheless🙂
It also helps you project the force you´re producing to be horizontal. All great acceleration happens with a low center of mass and the torso/shins projecting horizontally.
Good song choice
Absolutely. It's really more for blowing past an opponent.
Great video.. This just reminded me.. :-)
Good video, you should do a video on upright ball handlers too
Some of the shiftiest players lean forward while dribbling because
1. it loads your glutes and hamstring so you can explode better
- puts center of mass in front as well
2. ball protection (ball located in the back of the body)
Note: this is not the only way to go, some guards like Jimmy Butler plays upright and it works, so it really depends on you
Thanks coach!
I see you with that Denise Williams playing in the background
Could you please do one on Chauncey Billups and his pull-up shooting
By the way, this video is super helpful
Thank you
Can we get more signature move workouts please 🙏🏼
Could you do a Devin Williams handle breakdown? From IntheLab? That would be dope!
Facts about the Shaq fear. No 1 wanted to face him so they played pf sf. Shaq was kicking and elbowing people without shame. I don’t blame them. We need to give Shaq more flowers
If you hip-hinge you will also get rid of that lower back pain when you dribble for long periods of time.
its not just the bones, its the muscles especially and getting oxygen to them.
Hope you Notice this comment Coach because you've help me improve my game alot.
best trainer in game currently
Can you do a best way to increase vertical video.
GOD bless💕
I used to do it, and it was confortable for me. One coach said me to stop it for no reason.
Do you think that when you're straight up, its harder for the defender to stop the jump shot, and If you're bent over its harder for them to stop the drive? Wouldn't this way make it so that you're always one extra movement ahead of the defender?
Can we get a quickley video👀👀👀
🔥🔥
ColeTheMan
Can you do a video showing workouts on how to get better at stopping on a dime
Defensively too
I always do this and thought it was bad
top 2 basketball advice channel and it's not 2
Noti gang
Also you notice even more upright players still have their weight in front of their feet
whenever I lean forward I fall over
Great video! I'd love to see a breakdown of Larry Bird's game
Tim Duncan and three pointers break down please
I naturally do this all the time
Attention to detail SGA
Please do shai gilgeous Alexander detail
He's play so much
Sometimes I feel like my basketball stance is weird because I’m 5ft10
I naturally do this, I thought it was a bad thing at first but I guess not
yessir
Pls do shai attention to detail
W
Bro I do that 😭
what is the instrumental
Do Zach LaVine pls
I hate this when an opponet uses this, feel like just kicking in the face xD
You missed a very important reason. They also lean forward because when ur leaning forward its easier to push momentum then back peddle to give urself enough space to shoot.
Everybody lean forward when they dribble bro
At first, I read it "shittiest" loll. My bad.
Man come on ... reach 10 M subscribers quickly so we can ask you why you are not yet on the NBA 😂😂😂
I'm literally the worst player in my team, and I think that the best way to improve my game is being an off-ball scorer (like klay thompson or ray allen), and also a great defender.
But, I really wish someday being able to do crossovers and finishes like kyrie, jonh wall, jamal murray... what should I do?
You should search up drills to work on at home including speed and by next year you will be an all around great player
Be the best player u can be in ur role during the season, and work on improving your all around game in the off season
Too many talkers online, u just gotta get outside with a ball everyday and shoot pass dribble and play, have fun with the game, good video though.
@@ByAnyMeansBasketball when I posted it, I wasn’t meaning to disrespect this post, it’s a great video, you guys did a great job. My comment was to the watchers, the youth gotta understand that training is great, but nothing beats just having fun with the game you love, working to improve until you get there, this generations doesn’t even go outside anymore, I earned a full scholarship thru just going outside to the court playing and having fun, never trained, didn’t know how, there was no CZcams, I show my kids your vids, you do great for sure, thanks again.
@@ByAnyMeansBasketball bro I been a subscriber for a while now u blessing a lot of people keep going 💯❤️🙏🏾
Players do this naturally anyways lol... only ones that don’t are centers or people who suck at basketball
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son so that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Jesus is the only way to eternal life in heaven. So don't trust in your own goodness to save you. Transfer your trust to the savior and ask God to help you turn from your sins and you will receive God's free gift of eternal life. God loves you! Hopefully this inspired you today. God bless.
Believe in JESUS, we are all sinners deserving the wrath of GOD, because we sin against a holy and just and perfect GOD. Therefore we all deserve the punishment hell, but GOD in his rich grace and mercy by which he loved us sent JESUS to die for us on the cross to leave his throne and suffer for us. To be the perfect sacrifice for us because he himself was sinless and perfect. That if we would have a repentant heart and believe in JESUS and place our faith in Him, we will be saved from the eternal punishment which is hell, and be given eternal life. l
