Hi Maya! I hope you read this! I was driving home today listening to this song and I imagined the most beautiful music video to match this song. It starts with showing a young woman, working an executive job in some big city, very studious and busy. We see her going about her daily activities but that she keeps checking a calendar and the time on her phone; as if she is counting down the days and hours to something. Then we show her on a long flight somewhere and she lands somewhere in Asia. She does work meetings and dinners, all the while still showing her check her phone. And then we flash to her in a dark underground Asian club with all the makeup and the dancers and she's shuffling and stepping and so into it, we are surprised as the viewers that she had this side. Then we show her going back home but something has changed. She's falling in and out of sleep and as she opens and closes her eyes the scene of the airplane is transformed into a sick airplane club, as if she's having flashbacks of her time on the plane but everyone on the plane is transformed into a sick futurstic party jet. Then she gets home and the same happens to her when she's working, and all the flashbacks transform her current environment into the club. Until finally at the end we see her searching frantically through her stuff for her mixer and sitting down to DJ and dusting off old notebooks and such, indicating she was previously interested in it but put it off to pursue the 9-5 and her passion was awakened again.
