I'm a bit surprised that they didn't release this in July as July 24th is when he won his first Intercontinental Championship and first championship overall in the WWE. But considering it's a legacy title and he officially debuted on TV on June 22nd 1998, it makes sense they've released it exactly 25 years from that day. I didn't start watching WWE until August 2000 so I don't remember his first IC title run but I definitely remember his 3 reigns in 2001 during the Invasion storyline and his final reign in 2004 before getting injured and Eric Bischoff stripped him of the title. That didn't make sense to me later on because Trish Stratus was Women's Champion when she got her back injury at Backlash 2005 and was out for 4 months but got to keep her title. Edge was out for no more than 2 months I believe and his final reign ended with him getting stripped of the title. I'd like to see Edge get one last reign with the belt so it can end properly instead of his final reign being ended forcibly.
I really like the blue and silver color combination. I just recently bought the real leathered version of the Intercontinental title with these plate designs and I love it. I have noticed some people feel this one should've been red and black. I would've liked it in either color combo but one thing I was surprised to see was no "Rated R Superstar" logo design. Maybe they didn't put it on as he was never referred to that for any of his 5 Intercontinental title reigns but this belt is to celebrate his 25 year career so I think they could've at least put the Rared R logo on the belt silver tip instead of the design thats there. Maybe they didn't make it red, silver and black because the Bella's legacy divas title is red, silver and black so they wanted a different color combination for this legacy title? But regardless I think they still could've made it red, black and silver. But like I mentioned, I do love the silver, blue and white colors. For me though, I still would've bought the Intercontinental title I just bought because I've wanted that title since 2000 as its the first championship I ever saw change hands when it was the WWF Intercontinental championship. But if I were to buy my first legacy title, this one would be a top contender for me.
i mean this the belt that basically started his push to main event stardom and plus he stated he always loved this belt due to people before like stone cold, HBK, and The Rock holding this belt as well

Can you do a side-by-side comparison video of the aew women's championship belt and the aew international championship belt, they look so similar but different, for some reason the international championship is more shinier ✨ in light than the women's championship belt on television
