If you are trying to get pregnant, you may have heard the term-two week wait, the often nervous time of waiting between ovulation and taking a pregnancy test. For many, this is a dreaded time because it’s hard to know exactly what is happening. But by learning more about your cycle, you can have more knowledge about what might happen.
The implantation window is during the two week wait. Since progesterone is the hormone responsible for supporting implantation, it must be present during the entire implantation window. You can track your progesterone during this window by tracking PdG, progesterone in urine.
Proov has unique testing capabilities to test PdG during the implantation window to confirm successful ovulation.
Studies show PdG levels are incredibly important for implantation and pregnancy success, for example, women with high PdG during the implantation window were 75% more likely to get pregnant. In contrast, women with low PdG had a miscarriage rate of 90%.

Hello just had my first iui. I was not having a LH surge even though the opk were coming out positive. I took letrozole and the trigger shot ovidrel is it normal? My follicles were approximately 17mm the day before the trigger shot.
I’d like to schedule a virtual appointment. But what information is needed? I’ve been TTC for 20 years. I have low AMH and decided to use donor embryo for personal reasons. I’ve had an ERA and many other tests and surgery to remove polyps and a small fibroid. The RE put me on estradiol, pio and added prednisone and doxycycline after a few failed transfers. Then he added lupron which I did for 2 months before my last transfer but I have a feeling it didn’t take because I have zero symptoms like before. The pio is always at 1.5ml. I also take a low dose aspirin after each transfer per instructions. I don’t know what to do and it’s not like I’m getting any answers from my RE. I’m frustrated and I deserve an answer. Please help.

Hi doctor , I am suffering with Pcod, ttc from the past 6 months I was asked to use letrozole 2.5 mg from day 2 of my period to day 6 , on jan 17th one dominant follicle is formed of size 20mm so doctor gave me hcg trigger shot on that day , on dec 19th through the scan doctor said that follicle is ruptured she told me to participate in intercourse for next two days , she gave me conceva gel to apply and she also gave me progesterone tablet for 10 days jan 29th is the last day of my progesterone tablet , I have bloating and from the past two days I have pain in the abdomen, what does it mean, is the implantation happening can I get pregnant, I was asked to do pregnancy test on feb 7th , please kindly reply doctor it’s important

Thank you, my first cycle using Proov was showing negative on 8 and 9 dpo but I also got a positive urine Hcg on 9 dpo. Ive had one prior missed miscarriage. My OB gave me endometrin upon request but im trying to figure out whether i actually need it since i did get pregnant (since proov tests for ovulation?) , but am also worried about my progesterone being low especially because I am pregnant. Thank you! Is proov only to be used if theres an issue in conceiving or can it also be used to pre empt a potential miscarriage due to low progesterone levels. Also my Ob was not interested in checking serum progesterone.

hi Gigi! That actually IS something that could be based on science. There is a theory that a normal amount of progesterone is needed for the fallopian tube to move normally. The movement of the tube is called peristalsis. The embryo moves down the fallopian tube for approximately one week before landing in the uterus.
Hello, this time I have taken hcg shot along with progesterone tablets now I am in my TWW I am experiencing diarrhoea and I feel my stomach is too sensitive.. What does it mean??
It may be a side effect of having too high of a progesterone level. I would suggest you talk to your doctor. If you were my patient, I would have you stop the progesterone if it was giving you diarrhea.

Hi Dr. Aimee I did Proov test and it was positive all 4 days but I’m not pregnant. This cycle they increase my Letrozole from 2.5mg to 5mg. My question is does that make the follicles grow faster than last cycle? Does dose increase correlate to follicles/growth rate?thank you
Great question! Adding a pill may: increase the # of eggs ovulated. By ovulating more eggs ----> more progesterone will be made by the ovary. This may help also grow the eggs faster too!

Im 1dpo using frozen donor sperm and im believing that this 1st try worked...im prayinf and hoping and praying and hoping again..lol
