The biggest point these people doesn’t know is that they feel skills is important, but the reality is there any value of Ayurvedic course and is it accepted by people and the government.
In reality government and our people only prefer mbbs and pg medicine graduates.
Allopathy and Ayurveda are totally different and these are two different beliefs and practices. But Ayush department forcefully introduced few modern medicine books and now demands our government to recognise them.
If you don’t respect ur pathy and adopt other pathy that’s the disrespect u show towards Ayurveda and ur just called quacks by everyone.
Most or every government postings are given only to mbbs doctors, only in rare case they take bams that too if government is unable to get a mbbs doctor to that location and that too on contactual basis till they get a mbbs doc.
Insurances let it be government or private and every legal document must be signed only by a mbbs doctor which is a major setback.Very soon a common insurance will come up where every Indian will have that national insurance like one in uk usa, what will the bams graduate do then.
Patients and even ur own relatives visits only mbbs. Most of the Ayurvedic doctor run the livelihood by practicing Morden and earn very less package and hardly they success.
1-2 percent of them who got money build hospitals and even then recruit mbbs to run the show.
Take any Ayurvedic doctor and compare any mbbs doctor, u will see the difference.
Yes sone expectations are there but 95-99 percent are hardly making anything.
Don’t take stupid decisions you will regret for sure if you take bams, I have seen 100s of Ayush doctors how they are treated and what value they have. Seriously nothing.
I am an Emergency Medicine Consultant from Bangalore and I have seen worked in many parts of our county both private and government for last 8 years.
MBBS seats have increased and is increasing also many foreign medical graduates are coming. The future of Bams is not great if you choose to practice modern.
Instead stick to pure Ayurvedic practice and flourish it.
