Thanks 🙏. Depends on your usage. If you'll be doing high mileage, than diesel, which by the way is the pick for me anyway, unless you're in Delhi NCR. Petrol only if the driving is going to be very less.

Called the dealer 3 weeks before they said to expect in the middle of april, yesterday called customer care they are saying expected month is may.

Diesels can't be banned for at least the next 10-15 years. Petrol is great too if running is not too much, as the mileage is low
Hey can you help with your recommendation for petrol automatic or diesel automatic for Ax5? Is the writing on the wall that government wants to get rid of diesel and therefore we should avoid it as it would have no resale value?
Well purely as a power train choice, the diesel, for the better efficiency. But petrol has kickass power and refinement. So if mileage is not a big concern then petrol. It's incredible as a driving experience

Hi Sir, I have one doubt about the road tax(RTO) percentage.
suppose the MX Petrol 5 seater model has a 12% road tax, so the same road tax is applicable for the AX5 Petrol 5 seater model as well or it may vary accordingly?.
I know if we change to diesel or 7-seater it may vary.

The XUV is inherently a better car as mentioned in the video. More refined and better handler. Both cars are good for passive safety but the XUV offers more control

Price shared is ex showroom and it's available on Mahindra's website. Anyone can check it. The AX5 P manual is for 17.69 L ex showroom

The problem with Brand Mahindra is that they are not known for ethics, especially after the fiasco of Scorpio N wheel coming out on highway leading to leg amputation. The way that case was handled has drastically reduced the faith in this brand.
We’ll have to agree to disagree there. Each brand its own incidents to refer to. Tata and Mg have had their own incidents
@motoroids might be true, but Mahindra's multiple cases with such basic R&D flaws have come to light. Moreover, working in the automotive sector, we have access to a lot of information, about various oems, much of which is not usually made public.
