Idk what Argentinian fans are like but English soccer fans literally called a little girl who was seen crying on the TV broadcast of the 2021 EURO a "little nazi slut" after Germany was disqualified from the tournament. this wasn't singular occurrence, there were hundreds of individual instance of this on Twitter alone, never mind what people told me the folks in the pubs did when that happened. funniest thing about this whole incident is that England wasn't even playing that day. Germany just happened to lose, the camera people happened to film that little girl and the English fans went off. Argentina can't be that much worse, right? In Australia the game where you bounce a tennis ball against a wall (played either solo or with others) is called handball, at least in the schoolyard. I don't watch the olympics so I have no idea how the handball game played there differs (this is the first time I'm hearing about a "handball" game with a football - though there is a move in aussie rules football called handball). It could well be that Joey doesn't know it does either.

      King | Queen

      Dunny | Jack
A player is eliminated when the ball is smacked into their square and it either bounces out of their square or if it rolls on the floor. You Cannot hold the ball or catch it or you are out. If a player bounces the ball straight out of the squares they are also eliminated. When they are eliminated the players move up a position, King is most powerful and also Serves, next is the Queen, then Jack and lastly Dunny. There are lots of variations but this is the main ruleset. The King once the lunch bell rings is the winner and they start as the king next lunch time.

    England: A country
    Wales: A country
    Scotland: A country
Ireland: A country but split between the mainly Catholic Republic of Ireland and the mainly Protestant Northern Ireland. There are many many factors as to why Ireland is split but that is a whole… There could be whole video SERIES dedicated to that topic.
The UK/Great Britain - England, Scotland, Wales and N Ireland that is recognised internationally and politically as a sovereign state.
The British Isles - just England, Scotland and Wales.
The Commonwealth - countries that recognise the reigning Monarch of the the UK, so ol’ Lizzie at the moment, as their head of state. Commonwealth countries have their own government and run the country how they see fit but recognise Queen Elizabeth as their head of state because they were former colonies. I believe we give them aid and have specific trade deals with them but I could be wrong, as well as run a mini Olympics called The Commonwealth Games that almost everyone in the UK doesn’t give a sht about 😅
Edit - the main reason the UK is together as a political entity is because Westminster, the Parliament, make laws that are effective in England, Scotland, Wales and N Ireland, however, each of these countries do have a devolved parliament of their own. You may have seen indyref1 or infyref2 or UnitedIreland or something that to effect and that’s all to do with Scotland (and recently Wales) wanting to end the union and rule as independent countries and, of course, there’s also a campaign to re-unite Ireland as one country. Whether any of these campaigns will be successful is a matter of time and will of the people of course (presuming Westminster get told to not interfere as well)

    • @kezzmate3577

Not every nation in The Commonwealth has Big Liz as the HoS (Head of State), the only countries that do, excluding Britain, is Canada, Australia & New Zealand, while a lot don’t such as India (obvious reasons), Barbados (until November 2021), Jamaica etc don’t. A lot of overseas territories that have links to either the UK, Australia or New Zealand have her as HoS, such as Gibraltar, Falklands, British Virgin Islands to name a few.
