Excuse me, but do you live in the South?...Well, I do, and I don’t know what all this talk is about regarding the difficulty that Michael will face living in a small southern town...There will be NO MORE “DANGER” to Michael living there than living in a “northern” small town - OR in NY, or LA, or Chicago, for that matter...I live on a street with more blacks than whites, with NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER...Everyone is friendly with each other...Blacks and whites date, AND marry...Where I work, there are more blacks than whites, including the manager and supervisor, and there are NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER...We all respect each other...It DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, it MATTERS HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS. Period. End of story...

@@paulakegley3892 i’m a truck driver so i’ve been all over the country, and the most i’ve been stared at in stores, given the side eye, had cashiers and everyone be friendly to everyone else and then a straight face with me, was down south. kentucky, tennessee, alabama, west virginia. it exists. just cause you don’t experience it in your town doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. and you can only be black to understand.
