Tgis is nice! I looooove a good ponytail! Can a silk press damage or strip your hair over time, taking away the natural coil in the curl? Keeps happening to my daughter everytime i allow heat on her hair...then we end up having to cut off damaged part and start over. Makes her hair seem like it cant grow.

yes, a heat protectant should help, also lowering the heat temp

i would recommend not doing silk presses for a while and resort to protective hairstyles to allow her hair to heal.
