Time and time again I keep apologizing for being unable to follow every single one of your English lessons and videos. I just love this one, in which you and your loyal friend Laura show the meaning and use of a number of English words in natural colloquial language as you both go about the chore of baking cookies for the family. I find this approach highly educational as well as enjoyable, since it involves an appealing demonstration of the meaning of words in a real-life setting. I found the lesson as "delicious" as your cookies. Thanks for your time. I always look forward to hearing from you. Your loyal follower, Victor

Great teacher, great videos,
I love your videos a lot, I've been watching your videos for almost 1 year, and it helps me plenty.
I`m wondering if you could help me solve a little problem.
I can understand what you said in the videos, but I can`t understand TV shows, such as "House of Cards" or "Breaking Bad",
So I want to know how to learn English or other languages and to talk like a native? what are the steps to learn a new language?
Hi! The best way to learn is to put in time every day working on your accent. Really dedicate time to practicing your spoken English with focus and consistency. That is the key! You are basically working on learning new movements for very small muscles in your face - this is not something that can be rushed. The time it takes will vary for each student. But the key is spending focused time everyday! If you want more guidance, you may want to check my Academy here: www.rachelsenglishacademy.com/
oh laura! long time no see. how have you been
I have been asking my favorite teachers, Rachel and Ibrahim Adel, to teach us how to pass Toefl Test, but no one has said ok untill now😅
They have alot of videos in playlist.
Just write in thier own channel
@@MuhsinAbdalla-hc9ql Ok, I will see
What the hell is Toeft?
Hi @user-et7id2bg1c! We do not have content that focuses on the TOEFL preparation however, our content which focuses on pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency will definitely help you with the speaking section of the exam.
🥰🥰🥰🥰
What do co-op and flip off mean in the video? Thanks.
The co-op here refers to a cooperative grocery store, a place where you can buy groceries with a membership that usually includes volunteer working hours for members. Usually this kind of store supports local farmers, has organic produce and can include special deals on bulk items.
I watch a series where in a certain episode a girl gains an ability from a demon because of an accident that gave her the aspect of demon, a person explained to me that aspect has the meaning of a particular part or feature of something and that in the case of this series something was the demon, would this person be right about the something was the demon even though this demon is a hybrid of half demon and half human?
Yes, this sounds like an example of "aspect". You can also use "aspects" to describe specific features. For example, "The aspects of her that most resembled a demon were her hands and face."
Hi, Rachel
I have had join English course yesterday night but I don’t have received an email yet, help me double check please . Thank you

Please help me how to pronounce in connected speech: I wanted to introduce myself?
Hi! This is a good idea for a future video. In the meantime, here's some practice with introductions: czcams.com/video/oWP9Riq-ZBg/video.htmlsi=MdwjigGc_9hsHa4c

Neither has two pronunciations with an E and I are they interchangeable? I never know which one to use.
To Americans they are interchangeable, yes.

Excuse me, can you explain why 4:06 it says it's and not its? :)
When "its" is a possessive (such as "its container"), it doesn't have an apostrophe. It only needs an apostrophe when it is a contraction of "it is".
@@rachelsenglish Yes. So why does it say "it's container" in the video?

Hello, Rachel! I've been a big follower for almost 10 years now. I've been rewatching most of your videos and shorts. I stumbled upon your particular CZcams Shorts (czcams.com/users/shortsqW5INhM1Zoo). Although the main focus of the video is on dropping the 't', I noticed that you somehow dropped the 'th' sound from the word 'that' and linked the sound to the previous word 'dropping,' which makes it sound like 'droppinat.' It's somewhere near the end of the video. Although I've been noticing this even before, like from another phrase, 'from there,' I could almost hear it as 'from ner.' And I've been pronouncing it like that ever since. Maybe you can make a video about it or enlighten us on this topic. I'm not sure if you've already made a video about this, but I vaguely recall from long ago that you addressed it. Thank you!
You're welcome and thanks for the suggestion @var_28!

What does she mean: ...big bakers slash cookers slash?
She's just asking if they were big bakers or cookers.
@@rachelsenglish Thanks for the answer. I look it up on Google and didn't find anything related to the whole sentence she used
Please add subtitle in your videos otherwise other country's people can't understand what are you saying..I am from Bangladesh .My mother tongue is Bangla.I want to learn English through your videos. But I dont understand all the sentences that you say..I understand few words .Most of the words I Don't Understand..
Yeah, i'm with you, that batter good if you add subtitle, i'm from Indonesia
Her pronunciation is perfect. It's better not to use your eyes to learn a language. Not dependent on eyes will train your ears to better recognize words.
