Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Usmani is the 6th most powerful contemporary Muslims. He chairs the AAOIFI Shariah board and the shariah boards of several Islamic banks, including Abu Dhabi Islamic bank.
Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani visited Moscow by the invitation of the Higher School of Economics and was invited to the council of the Agrofimost Project which involves issuance of the sukuk.

И я так понимаю это плата за управление фондом и хранение золота, слитков и прочее. По сути услуга секьюрити денег. Даже если хранить 4 года, это всего 2%. Не так уж и много. Какие тут подводные камни? Реальное ли это золото или только производный продукт? Я думаю постоянное снижение ключевых ставок в мире приведет к инфляции и подъему на защитный металл. Так как ставку снижаниют, это по сути печатание, а экономики все больше стагнируют. Халяль или не халяль?

If we don't go for interview because of your logic, then who will convey the message of Islam? 2ndly she is fully covered. In Sharia only face and hands may be exposed. I personally think it's not appropriate for Mufti Taqi Usmani sahb to give interview to a lady. As he is one of.the leading.scholars.of Islam.in Pakistan.and world.
If it wasn't Islamically appropriate, a learned religious scholar like him would have refused. He is being interviewed very formally on an academic subject.

Taqi Usmani hasn't disowned his Deobandi beliefs, which are part of the larger Maturidi Creed. And Maturidism is disbelief in The God and his Messanger Muhammad PBUH because Abu Mansur Al Maturidi disbelieves in the verse of The Recitation in chapter 17 in which The God clearly mentions that Iblis was a Ghost (Jinn). Eventhough Taqi Usmani has clearly mentioned Vicegerency (Khilafah) as the ultimate form of Governement, he still does not understand that Nationalism and Democracy are no different to Idolatry and Paganism because all four are part of The Satanism (At Taghut). And as you know, The Satanism (At Taghut) is mentioned 8 times in The Recitation.
In addition, one of the most important duties of the Vicegerency of The Submission (Khilafatul Islamiah) is minting the Gold Dinaar and the Silver Dirham to Roman and Persian standards because Obligatory Charities (Faridatun Sadaqat) such as Alms (Zakat) and Protection Tax (Jizya) only include the collection and distribution of Gold Dinaars, Silver Dirhams, Goats, Sheep, Cattle, Camels and dried food which lasts atleast 1 year. And there is no Alms (Zakat) on Fiat Currencies such as pounds, dollars, euros, rupees or bonds or or any other monetary value. The deafdumbblind Clergy Wergy (sheikhs, muftis, moulanas, ustads) as well as charities who wrongfully believe that in the modern world, Alms (Zakat) can be paid on Fiat Currency, might as well believe that in the modern world, you can reduce Prayer (Salah) to once a day or once a week or once a month or once a year. Even worse, these deafdumbblind people might as well believe that in the modern world, you can do water fasts instead of actual fasting in Ramadan, or that you can do Pilgrimage (Hajj) on google maps or google earth instead of going to Makkah. It is extremely shocking that despite having knowledge of Economics, he still believes in John Maynard Keynes and believes that Gold and Silver are commodities instead of money. How misguided. In The Recitation, chapter 9 clearly informs us about the punishment of hoarding gold and silver and not spending it in the way of The God. And despite this, Taqi Usmani believes that central banks and commercial banks who hoard gold and silver, and hand out fiat currencies and bonds, are fine. Again, how misguided and deluded. He must be deafdumbblind.
So overall, after having read Taqi Usmani's book, it is crystal clear that he is still deafdumbblind. He still believes in The Satanism (At Taghut). This is because he, along with all of Sunnism (Maturidism, Asharism, Atharism), Shiaism, Ahmadiyyahism, Ibadism, Alawism, Alevism, Bahaiism and Druzism, are all misguided because they disbelieve in chapter 3 of The Recitation.
