Your journey in the sky.I want to draw a video of sky ☺️I still remember when I was a moth,I am very happy to meet people in the sky.Especially the cherry blossom girl who took me to Eden patiently.She didn't fly straight to the storm.But walk up carefully.I met a bowtie girl who is good at playing the piano.I often listen to her practice the piano.I also met a rich veteran who going to retreat, gave me a season pass,It was assembly season. I also met a moth like me.He runs candles better than I do.Because I often get lost.The hidden map of the rainforest is hell to me.As time goes on, everyone is busy with real things. We no longer contact..But I won't forget my jounery in sky

I remembered a girl wearing a shell cape from the old season. We became friends and she showed me into the valley oob and talked under the stars and sunset area. We were like sisters then I became busy and sometimes go online when I came back again and saw her one last time. We went again in the oob more likely became our spot we had a talk and said our goodbyes never to see each other again. Yet I'm still waiting for her.

Reminds me of the moths that I helped guide. All of them "grew up" and found new friends to hang out with on the game and stop needing me to hold their hand.
noooo idk if that could ever be me 😭😭😭 I love my sky parents so much. They usually play together so when I see them on I immediately teleport home to get to them and hold their hands. I'm no longer a moth, but I can't imagine just leaving them.
@@fizzyb0mb I am happy you still hang out with your sky parents. One of the moths occasionally pops in once in a while to do candle runs or ask for something but that is about it when others interact with me these days.

I'm tearing reading these comments about you guys having sky parents and sky childrens while me being alone the whole time. I learnt all my knowledge the hard way. I was once met someone but it feels like I'm a burden to them so I stopped bothering them. I wish I met someone that could treat me that way too.

Out of the 30 moths I adopted, only 3 came back to hang out with me. They said that they became someone like me who helped them and thanked me for being their sky parent, I was so touched that I cried so much. I don't go online as often as before but I try as much as possible to hang out with my kids

Its funny because Sky is just a small game where people chill and collect candles for pretty cosmetics
and yet the most heartbreakingly wholesome friendships start and end here.
It's cause Sky is not just about cosmetics, it's about what I like to call "everyday magic" those little moments that make you look at the world in a different way.
because your interpretation is hindering. It's not "just a small game collecting cosmetics". The whole point of Sky is to make friends and play with friends.

I love the loop aspect of this video. It took me a few times to realize that the cat haired player at the beginning and the chibi one were not the same. Both of them came into the long haired players life ( one as a chibi and the other as a moth) but both built a bond with them even if it didn't last forever.

I’ve only been playing this game for a year, but man this is so true. Made some friends there, we used to play daily; it’s been about 4 months since they’ve last been online, and now I play the game alone. It’s still a relaxing game for me, but it definitely doesn’t feel the same as when I first started 😢

I lost my best friend of sky. He was my first friend in sky he taught me how to play and everything but after sometime he didn't came online more often and then he went offline for always. 😭

This is really sad and adorable cause you have a good time with your best friend from the past and then he/she doesn't visit you anymore and you feel bad and you just wanna talk to him/her cause you don't wanna bother him/her... You wanna visit him/her but you feel scared too joined.. after you visit him/her you just go offline and then.... You never came back... And your friend can't hold it anymore and decided to not wait for you anymore...

I lost a friend on sky a year ago, I cried so much.
She felt like a sister damn near but she had to delete all her social media because her mother found out she had discord and sky, and take this into account, she was 17 so technically she is old enough to have it.
She promised she'd be back hopefully soon but....
She hasn't come back.

I rarely made comment but this hit me hard right in my heart.
I am one of the old veteran, I have been playing since Enchanment. That time, the plague forced people to stay at home and everyone were looking for place to runaway, that's how I met my friends at Sky.
We became family, we went through hardship together, we celebrated so many occasions together.
But time passes and they are no longer here. I can only see their name shine in my friendlist, longing the old time we flied through the clouds with two or three in piggy back.
New friends might come to lighten up the darkness in loneliness but the feelings cannot be comparable especially when you already met the irreplacable. Now they are no longer there and I become solo player, prays that one day a blue light will go around their stars and we can hold hand together again.
Man, this hit too hard. I miss my good Sky friends :(
I still find the beauty of Sky bittersweet. The game is beautiful, and the friendship theme looks nice on paper, but making friends almost always turns out fruitless for me. There was only one friend I met outside of Sky that I played with in the game a lot, and even then I had to leave them this year. I can't get emotionally attached to this game's friendship theming anymore. Or I'll go crazy with loneliness.
I hope my next friend who's interested gets into this game...like I did. Then maybe I'll open up again.

I've been playing for over 2 years and I can relate to this so much. After playing everyday for almost 1.5 years, watching friends never come online again, thinking back at old times, trying to recollect who people are and how i met them, and then taking a break for a few months myself, only to come back and have all my active close friends who used to join me stop joining me, I totally get it.

Been a year since I last came here, I met my veteran again. She changed so much since I last saw her, first thing I saw was that she bought the moth cosmetics and the season pass. And she had become tall with a blank mask, I told her of all the things that happened since she was gone. I told her about my moths and how I cared for them like how she cared for me.
I even took her to candle runs for a while before ultimately I had to part with her, she had been playing with her IRL friends and I didn't want to disturb her. Sunshine was a big part of my time in sky, I just wish I was still that little moth she cared for.

This really captured my life in sky, I miss the person whom helped me before when I was a moth.. They left sky a month ago and i really wish I can see them once more, last message I got from them was "Take care, good luck on your journey, see you later." Then they never came back... :( and now I'm just here cherishing the time I had with my moths and friends while they lasted as I know sooner or later I'll end up alone once more.. :')
God this is so damn beautiful, I know that feeling of missing old friends and making so many beautiful fun memories with them. You want to hold onto them, you wish they were still here by your side. But they eventually leave your side, it hurts yes but we'll always have the good times to remember our old friends by.
I had friends who were like family and we were close but stuff happened, we fell apart. It broke my heart but I still have others to make happy memories with. I have a large circle of friends, they brought me up and helped me realize my worth. I went through a lot of rough patches in my teen years but things like that help us grow and learn. It'll be okay.

This made me almost cry, because I actually experienced this recently, I have a really good friend who I met since they were a moff, we’ve been freinds for around 2+ years I think, and they have a lot of friends because they naturally can make friends easily, which I understand, but even so we used to hang out a lot, but not too long ago all of a sudden, they stopped visiting me and whenever I went to visit them, they were always with and talking to this one person, I felt so lonely and sad, so I stopped responding to them, thinking they had found someone else to replace me.
Once my friend on sky they had a bad condition idk what it was that wa the last ever time I held their hand and flew with them now in eye of Eden I'm always crying when I see their name it breaks my heart everytime.
😭 the end hit me so hard. my Sky parents haven't been on lately and I miss them so much

On a less sad note, the night after i added a close friend of mine, i played late into the night
While running around, I lit this person's candle, and she added me as friend. Game called her Ihubane. For the next half an hour to an hour, we flew around Daylight Prairie, sometimes I was leading, sometimes she was leading. In the process, we met a chibi player, and both of us added her. Game called her Veyemito.
Then, Ihubane abruptly closed the game, and when i entered game last night, she was logging off. I haven't seen her since. I suspect both Ihubane and Veyemito are in another timezone where it's day during my night.
Last night, I was playing late again (i know, awful idea). When checking my light exchange, I saw that Veyemito was online, so I went there. She didn't see me at first, but then she saw me. She immediately unlocked hug and we hugged 3 times in a row. We both did the Vault of Knowledge elder, and landed in the room with eden or home. We don't have chat unlocked so our communication was mostly by honks and emotes, and I'm honestly not sure how effective that was xD
i might be remembering the rest of the events a bit incorrectly (it was 1:30 am) She ran circles around me while I tried to decide between eden and home, and eventually chose home cause i like my wing levels. after that, we lounged at home a bit, using emotes for fun (man, where's that give heart one i want it). after minutes of emotes, we ran around and did the daylight prairie shards. that might have been her first time seeing the shard guide. she headed back to pairie and i followed (but due to bad flying skills because i have none), i lost track of where she was, and then she vanished :'D. I did the shard on my own, then went back to home. she was still online, it was just a server split. i would have gone to her world again, but my phone was flashing 10% battery, and it was 2 am, so i just closed the game.... to her, it might have looked like i just left with no warning last night ;-;
I rlly miss my sky parent, Nicole. Sky parents r like little rays of sunshine, and now I’ve become one myself ;)

I like to help people. I just hate being hurt.
I had a friend in sky I would run my CR with every day. They had to move so their sleep schedule became out of wack. Now I hardly ever see her. If she is online it's always with someone else. I'm not jealous, I just don't wanna be a burden. So I don't even try to get their attention, I just let them do their own thing. Meanwhile I continue to do my daily routine of doing my dailies and collecting my candles. Luckily for me I bought the little head rabbit. It makes me feel a little less sad when I have my little rabbit which I named Mochi with me. It's probably the only head accessory I'll ever need.
I have a hard time making friends, I hate opening up. I've been hurt so many times that my heart can't take that much pain.
This is a serious tearjerker. Something it reminds me of is only about three of my original beta friends are still playing Sky, and even now it is almost impossible to run into them.
I’m a bit of a solitary person. I help where I can, and I accept people that want to be my friend, but I’ll always go back to my roots of being a solo player. That doesn’t mean I forget about the people I met along the way, or even that I never play with them again.
To those that feel like they’ve been abandoned by good friends because they’ve started playing with others: don’t you worry. It’s unlikely that they’ve forgotten about you. And just because they’re not playing with you, or at all, doesn’t mean they don’t still care about you. Feel better. You are loved. ❤
On one hand, sad. On the other hand, I find it kinda funny cause I KNOW that this took place during the entire beginning of the Aurora Beta cause they just donned the Summer Hat. And that took like what... a few weeks? Not the animation to be clear, it is a very well-done animation. I mean the timespan of the current aurora beta.

But really though, to me this shows what it is like in Sky when it comes to friends. I have been playing for almost a year already and I don’t see most of my old friends anymore. It really does hurt when they see “see you next time!” or “Let’s play again soon!” but they never come back again. I met a lot of other players during my time playing Sky and I enjoyed those memories we made together but since I see them less and less it makes me realize I won’t be able to experience it again. Sure, I do make new friends and they are similar to my older friends but there’s always the feeling that they lack the same energy my older friends used to have
The art is so beautiful, it's making me look at Sky with fresh eyes. Not as a layout of candle locations, but as a living world.

I have deleted and reinstalled it 4-6 times, a very good friend of mine used to play it with me. It was always a very fun experience, but as the days go by I start to feel more and more lonely in the game because she doesn't play much. After a while we'll both forget about it and I'll delete it because she's the only one who I played it with. Then the cycle continues. It's been way too long since I've heard from her, she never replies my messages anymore TwT

my sky story is when I met some random dude doing emotes at prairie named Davi, we became good sky friends until then and met a lot of people that grew our friend group. Those people were Aurora, Liena, Lexi, Duncan, etc… (I’m sorry if I forgot you I had lots of friends)
I eventually got bored of sky and wanted to quit to pursue other interests like Genshin or Project SEKAI. however, quitting means losing all my friends. Dumb me quit and lost all my friends. It was bound to happen anyways, I was gonna change my phone. I miss them so much tho. I left a shared space message for them once I quit. Davi said we should meet in 5 years, once our age gap wouldn’t be so awkward. I wonder if I will meet him and my friends again… anyways, I am the friend leaving my friends instead of the skykid getting left alone in this vid. I have downloaded sky on a new moth account and have met lots of people I know from CZcams this time. -skykid that was once named Ivy
Beautiful irony in the fact that AURORA actually collabed with thatgamecompany this month. Did you get a chance to see the event? 8094 players watched the event when I watched. Runaway was the 2nd song played.
As for Sky, I absolutely love it. It's one of very, very few game communities that isn't toxic at all. The game is so wholesome. I found out how big of a heart I really had today. A large group of more experienced players were going through Eden, and I was one of them. We came across a moth on their first time ever. We decided to take them with us, and I elected to protect them. When we came across the krills, they got knocked off while the rest of the group left them. I decided to stay behind and help them. As we were going up the area there, a krill locked onto them and they couldn't escape. Without even thinking it through, I flew directly in front of them and took the hit instead. This happened 3 times, just so they could get through Eden with all their winged light. I wish I had friend them before my game glitched out just before the start of the ending scene, but I'm just happy I helped them get through it.
That was the 2nd collab with aurora to bring the encore concerts. I was there for several of them, and the one on the one on august 25th too. Soo many players but so much lag.
As for the game community, we have toxic people and more is bound to happen as the game gets released to PC, but we generally know how to deal with them, and remind them that this type of behaviour isn't okay.

Being a sky parent is emotional I had a sky parent I looked up to them and the others with all their cool stuff I wanted so much to be like them but one day they just left and I was struggling to make new friends everyone ignored me I beeped help out my candle but nothing and I couldn’t get anything new done because I need help so I quit. But then I made a friend and I remembered the game because I saw it was free on Nintendo switch and asked my friend is he wanted to play it since we could hug in it(I’m in canada he’s in America) so he downloaded it I wasn’t exactly a moth when I quit but I still had the mind set of one due to being alone and too scared to do certain areas and unable to reach things without running out of wings but I help him to the valley of triumph and then had to leave the next day he made it to the vault of knowledge and I was impressed because I was terrified of the golden waste land but he said it wasn’t that bad and showed me in and helped me through and having a friend to play with allowed me to do so many new things and I had so much fun and I introduced more friends to the game over time and I was the pro of out group first to venture the eye of eden and the one to go through it the most I show off my emotes and outfits excitedly and play songs pretty decently I was never one to collect more wings then I needed so I stuck with 7 to 8 wings as I’m busy enjoying the game with friends but recently I was helping a moth and realized I had become what I looked up to I had reached my goal I no longer was constantly working for candles hearts and winged light I was enjoying the games beauty and helping others instead I had become the parent excited to find moths and help them always over joyed to be a guide and playing music and showing off I realized they look up to me now I was the cool veteran and I had been so happy with everything I didn’t realize I cried happy tears realizing how much my tiny acts of kindness would have big effects and over joy them taking them through side areas for extra glowy children (Inside joke with my friends) and crandles (another inside joke)
I met a fellow player on Sky. She hwlped me and another player get through Eden when it was my first time. I didnt know it then, but she became my best friend. She was like a little sister to me. We told each other everything. We learned so much together. Turns out we even have the same birthday!! But she hasn't come online for almost 2 years now. I have no idea why. I have never missed someone so much..

Honestly i met two people when i was a moth in DP, and they were very nice. Although they were Chinese (i think) they typed and understood english very well :)) But now i dont see them as much and it makes me sad. Now my other close friends stopped playing. 😔

MY SKY FRIENDS
This reminds me of a friend I had made while playing Sky, her name was Margie, she helped me with Sky (getting spirits, beating realms, ect.) but I had to go so I went, after that she hardly came back on, I am not saying she should play sky all the time but I low-key miss her and would like to play with her again
Another friend I made was recently, I named them 'my saviour' cause they saved me from the krill (I think that's the name) in golden wasteland, and when I was doing a cutscene in the vault of knowledge, they up and left me for another person (It might of been another friend or someone they knew irl and I don't mind its just the fact they didn't wait)
3rd friend (and last) I made in Sky was named Yosiha (I think that's the name) I met them with 'my saviour' at the start of the vault of knowledge, and I found them fun to play with, and just like 'my saviour' they left for a bigger group
Overall I know its only a game and you cant keep friends forever but I get attached to people easily and it kind of made me sad on about how they just went without saying bye. And I know they have life outside of Sky but making friends on the game is different to any others (since Sky has a different communication than the one commonly used in more famous games, Minecraft, roblox, ect.) and honestly I think Sky has made me happier

Many have come and go in my now 4 years in sky, has been fun, sad, amazing, turbulent and many other experiences, I’m happy I still have some friends I met in sky that we are still together and playing until this day, laughing and joking in and out the game, sky has been a bit positive portion of my life, specially after getting banished from 2 fandoms for wrong reasons, never felt more welcome in a community like has been sky, I hope it keeps been alive and vibrant as it has been and many get to experience the magic of sky like I did back when I picked this game for the first time, THANK YOU FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THIS MAGIC WORLD OF LIGHT!
gosh... I want to cry.
I have a hard time with emotions and hanging around people my friend group ended up breaking apart and we never talk anymore because i play alone, andwhen i play with someone all their friends join and i kinda just get pushed to the back which makes me either want to leave or stay as a ghost, i just get really depressed so i always play alone and its hard to stay near others but it is pretty lonely
I knew a fellow moth who did the whole game with me. at the time, i had already finished but was really confused abt how to get my winged lights back from eden. They were really kind and funny, and i always helped them and took them to cool lookout places. I showed them so many places and they always played with me. at some point, they didnt log on again. I kept logging on in hopes they would be on but evantually i quit. I ended up missing them logging on because they sent me a heart. I rlly miss them and i havent found anyone willing to stick by my side yet, but i still have some hope ill find a moth somewhere >:D
