    Nice video. I have to say after owning my KQI 2 Pro for over a year that overall I am happy with the purchase. The only major issue I have come across is the rear tire needing to be replaced and sometimes when driving at night the headlight will go off after being on for a while and you have to turn it back on, other then that for the price it's a good entry level scooter. My experience with their customer service was also good.

      @@MarkDanger777 It is a pain. Specifically the last part of removing the actual tire from the rim, I had to get a local shop to do it for me and it took like 5 hours to find a place that works with electric scooters.

      Hi! Did you have to replace the tire because it was punctured? How often would you say it happens in normal conditions?

    • @paulainsworth7882
      @paulainsworth7882 Před 5 měsíci

      @@Evisonsl The back tire has a tendency to develop a slow leak which makes you need to pump it up occasionally, I think it depends on where you ride the scooter. The trail system I use has trees over it so... I do think the fact the tire is on so tight and there is no innertube makes me think just pumping the tire up is probably the least hassle fix, I mean a new tire can go bad too eventually.

    • @Lantea13
      @Lantea13  Před rokem

      On bumpy grass it probably would not be great, but it should handle packed dirt and a little bit of light gravel just fine, such as the one here czcams.com/video/5Q6xSs4kFa0/video.html I have taken the Ninebot Max G30LP on this very same trail and it was ok. The KQi2 is nearly identical in terms of wheel size and tyres, so it should handle a trail like this as well, but its not the most enjoyable ride and I would not want to ride regularly on unpaved trails with either the G30LP or the KQi2. The ideal surface for them is paved roads.

    • @Lantea13
      @Lantea13  Před 4 měsíci

      It can handle a bit of grass as long as its not bumpy, e.g. golf course vs wild flower field. Same with riding on dirt or forrest trails, if its mostly flat compact dirt its fine as long as there are no rocks all over the trail.

      So far nearing 2000km I had no issues riding in rain, snow, fog or any other weather. The scooter has survived even some big storms, but I would definitely advise to try and not ride in very bad weather :D
      Since the warranty does not cover water damage it is always a bit of a risk riding in rain, but it has not been a problem in my experience and if you watch some of my other KQi2 disassembly/repair videos you can see that the internal components are pretty well sealed against the elements.

    • @Lantea13
      @Lantea13  Před 9 měsíci +1

      When you have the scooter charged to 100% you do need to use up a bit of battery before the regen electronic brakes activate, you can still brake with the mechanical drum brake as normal. So it is something to keep in mind when you start riding from 100% battery for the first few minutes of the ride.
