Literally just watched Alita Battle Angel last night at the theater. Even though I knew that Hugo would be killed off by the end of the movie, when they saved him and killed him again, Alita's cry of pain and despair as she watched her lover fall to his death just broke me in that moment.

The gear near the full screen icon is the parameter icon. Then subtitles. Then add subtitles. It opens the translation tool. You can submit subtitles from here. Then someone will review your work before it gets publicly available. The boring part isn't typing, it is to match the lyrics with the sound ^^

@goodtoby07 Not everything can be fixed. Trust me. Reaplacing =/= fixing, rebuilding =/= fixing. My previous parent's house was so damaged it had to be demolished to the ground because of the foundation starting to crack.

The draw looks like she threw herself in the knife for sacrifice her life and save that boy that for their faces looks like both are in love.u.u
Look closer. There's more blood on her than from just that knife, but the only blood she's left on him are from her hand on his face, and the laser sights are aimed at her, not him. Also, while she's reaching for his face, the only hand of his that we see is the one clutching the knife he ran her through with, and his back is flat to the wall like he was backing away from her.
My guess is that she was first shot by whoever is on the other end of those laser sights. She tried to flee, and saw and reached out for the boy to try to get him to help her, but he mistook the blood-covered cyborg girl's lunge as her attacking him. He backed up against a wall, she kept following, and he stabbed her--only to realize she was begging for help, not trying to kill him.

@@chelseas3885 no, why would she put her hand on his face? First option: I feel like that your theory is mostly correct. I think tho that she threw herself into the knife. We don't know the circumstances why the laser people are even attacking her. She probably threw herself into the knife so she doesn't have to suffer anymore, because they hunt her down and with her injuries she wouldn't last long.
Seconds option:
He betrayed her. She thought he was on her side but actually he was one of the bad guys. He looks kinda sad, so he regrets a bit what he did. Maybe he fell in love with her and now realized hid feelings? 🤔
looks like he stabbed her and in her final moments she's searching his eyes for answers. betrayal is what I would guess

@@cahss1843 welll...... I punch him because I let my anger consumed me hit him at his face and also he had eyeglassess so the glass from it had gone to one side of his cheek. There was blood on my hands and his face I was in shock of what I have done and was worried that there is also glass in his eyes but luckily there wasn't after that he had gone to the hospital. If you ask what had he done that made me that angry was that we were joking around and he crossed the line a little bit.
