Maybe it would help to put a bit less pressure on each date? Like the goal of every date isn’t to find your future husband but the goal can be: have fun/learn about other ppl/learn about yourself/enjoy NYC spots/ learn what you like/learn what you don’t like/ make a new friend/ make a new enemy/ get funny stories/ etc etc etc

Yess changing my perspective like this was so helpful for me and allowed me to really enjoy dates! Putting pressure on each date to be 'the one' or even just a romantic interest tends to make it more anxiety inducing and less fun.
Yes! A quote that resonates with me is “nothing is going to work out until something does.” Kinda helps put things into perspective so you don’t get disappointed. It’s just meeting someone new!
