When i use to do this, we did our burnouts. Then raced shortly after. The slicks had to lose 20 to 30 degrees sitting there as long as they did.

What’s the point of heating those tires up for traction and then sittin on the line for 20 minutes before they start?
What’s the point in doing a long burn out and all the rubber coming off down the road.Do a 15 foot burn out and redo.
