Yes, I also absolutely love the Dries van Noten lipsticks + the cases are so beautiful. I can recommend nr 86 bohemian scarlett, a gorgeous deep colour especially when applied with a lip brush. I love his fragrances too (rock the myrrh is such a gorgeous leather scent).

I know you aren’t a fan of matte lipsticks but on this occasion, I would most definitely recommend that you try the DVN mattes! The colours, finish, comfort, and longevity are the best I have tried by far. 🙂

Michelle, I completely agree with you on the CT palette. It looked warm on me as well. Thought it was more pink and turned out orange looking. I was a not disappointed. I have to play with it more.

We are about the same skin tone and you sold me on the darker CT highlighter for a bronze summer look!
I bought four totally different DVN lipsticks and they, too, are beautiful. I don't know who's running the cosmetics there - but bravo for doing so wonderful colors and formulations. For instance, one I bought is a vibrant blue-pink, but rather than doing it in matte, they did it in a sheer (I think) and it just works so well. Super delighted with this new line and the colors you bought are just as lovely!
Dreamlite reminds me of the darker Glowgasim pallet with the highlighter and 2 blush colors. The shadows look like something I have in her other multipan pallets.
I had tried the By Terry in Rose Flash. It was sooo spotty whether I used fingers or brush. So I tried it with powder after watching your video and it's a little better but still spotty. There may be a shade differential but wish I hadn't purchased.
Feel like michele tried to make it work and give it the benefit of the doubt but it was still visibly patchy… won’t be buying
You can see it right the way it doesn’t work and it is bad quality no matter you do…
After seeing you apply it, I think I need to pick up the darker highlighter. It looked so good with the bronzer. Also, Guerlain just released a scalp serum, thought I should let you know as you like these haircare products. :)
I love the Dries lipsticks and the cool toned Charlotte Tilbury highlighter. I'm not getting either of those By Terry blushes, though! They look so patchy. I was going to get the rose pink shade originally, but this video changed my mind.
I have ordered By Terry's CC Sunny Glow Powder Bronzer though! Excited about it.

I would like to offer a suggestion. When referencing products that you don't have or products you are comparing it would be nice to have some b roll of that product so we can visually see what you are describing. I know this probably adds editing time but it really would increase the video's quality.

Physicians formula used to have like the exact same thing. I had the lighter of the two and the colors look the same and I always just put it on top of my blush years ago before highlight was even popular. I’m 58 and I’m talking when I was in my 20s and 30s and tanning at the beach all the time and I would put this over my tan and it would be gorgeous. I might see if they still have that!
Your excitement for highlighter and vibrant colours speaks for all of us. After all this will be our first normal Summer since 2019 (even is COVID is still lurking, life had to go on.)

Those By Terry blushes look great … just wish there were more colors. I love how the CT eyeshadow quad looks on you but for the life of me … I can’t seem use any of the line … just doesn’t work for some reason. I have huge eyes and a ton of lid space so I like to play with lots of shadows even at my age but I think I’ll pass on Pillow Talk. Also I can’t seem to figure out what the difference is between the original pillow talk and the new one. Love the DVN lipstick cases!! Theres always something special about opening a unique lipstick package.
Random thought... I wish you could try the new blush and highlighter from westman atelier 😘
Hey Michele…I watched a review of the new Charlotte Tilbury quad from another Beauty CZcamsr. The shades in the quad were an exact match when she put them on her eyes. With that being said, I have purchased all of Patrick Ta’s cream/powder blush duos. One of the compacts looked like a cooler brown, which is not my shade. My skin is light to medium with a peachy olive undertone. I was a little intimidated by it. I actually thought maybe I had made a mistake and bought his cream/powder contour, but I had not. I can’t remember the shade right off hand. I decided to play around with some makeup that I hadn’t used, so I pulled out that cool brown compact and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing in my mirror. Not only did it not show up any shade of brown, it actually turned pink on my cheeks! The only explanation I can come up with is that the ph in my skin changed the color, kind of what the Charlotte Tilbury did on u. That’s my conspiracy theory. Both Angela Van Rose and Grace from Everyday Edit did a video on the ByTerry blushes. That’s probably who u saw and they r very beautiful. I loved all of the lipstick shades that u picked out. This was a very fun video to watch. Thank u for sharing it with all of us. U rock that orange lip!!❤️💄

I got 3 Dries Von Noten lipsticks, love the colors and packaging. Very Happy. Arriving in 7 days. And we will see if my new wrist works then...I may turn into Bozo the clown if it ends up on my nose. It will be my rehab exercise for that day.

Let me tell you, that By Terry Beach Bomb palette is one of my FAVORITE face palettes ever. And I love the fresh rose scent. One of my favorite brands. I want that cool toned CT Highlighter but I wish it wasn't limited addition since cool tones are usually not included or pretty rare
Yeah the CT eye palette isn't for me. Too warm and orange. Unfortunately most palettes nowadays seem to lean that way. But it sure is beautiful! Just not for me. Beautiful on you! 🥰

However, I did actually do a video duping the Beach Bomb with Pixi. I still of course like the By Terry one better, but at least there's a close alternative. Maybe they will make another version this summer? Hopefully with similar shades 😁
Every time there's one of those clicky pens, I secretly hope we're going to get a good show of impatient clicking, complete with absolutely hilarious faces. Was it a Bobbi Brown highlighter pen that took so long for the product to click out? That was hilarious.

The eyeshadows didn’t look any different on the eyes. The bronze blush and highlighter combo was beautiful. I don’t use highlighter in the winter either.
CT always seems very bridal/modelesque for me and I did use the OG Pillowtalk lipstick for my wedding as well, but the eye products leave me uninterested.
Those Charlotte tilbury highlights remind me so much of Too Faced cosmetics - the overly blingy product and imprint/ overspray

I don't have the new Charlotte tilbury quad but I have 2 Charlotte tilbury eyeshadow palettes and I have fair skin, and all the shades pull really warm toned on my skin and much darker than they appear in the palette. And that was just such a disappointment to me.
Is the case of the DvN lipsticks plastic or metal?
I am waiting for the big high end makeup names to up their game in Australia. Chantecaille and By Terry are strangled by Mecca, due to exclusivity agreements. Anything you show by Chantecaille and By Terry ...might... turn up here. One day. Very frustrating.
I find Pillow Talk too reddish brown on me. It always looks so beautiful and pink on everyone else but I had the pillow talk blush and it looked like I had been slapped hard (I am very fair with neutral undertone). I ended up giving it to my mum and it looks beautiful on her. Even the lipstick looks brown. Safe to say that the eyeshadow will not be bought.
Yeah I was worried when I saw the glitter in the 1 strip in the CT highlighter I got. Thank God it was over spray bc I'm not a fan of glitter esp in my highlighter.
I didn't get the deeper CT highlighter tho it was gorgeous bc I'm the same skintone as u and it would be to dark for me. I'm glad I didn't now that I'm watching ur video. I mean yeah we love that bronzed glowy moment but u can see the orange like base slightly from it on ur cheekbone. I was shocked at how dark the bases r in the deeper highlighter it's almost like a metallic eyeshadow. It still looks beautiful on u here regardless but u just saved me money on not getting it. Now I know for sure I'm good with the light shade and I do not have any highlighters like it in my collection so win win.
I didn’t realize that the setting powder had to go down first. For me, it is always the last step. I guess I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.

The CT shades look peachy to me…not so pink. Not a fan of recent CT shadow releases😕. I guess I have so many new eyeshadow palettes that I’m getting super picky! But you look beautiful regardless of the makeup. The DN lipstick cases are gorgeous!
I feel like all her products look different online! I’ve purchased lipsticks especially Pillowtalk which look to be this beautiful pink soft shade and to me it’s like a gray brown. The absolute worst color I’ve ever tried on… It’s probably because my lips have a lot of blue in them, but I see no pink in any of the Pillowtalk lipsticks????

Completely agree! All CT quads look the same to me. And the pillow talk is so overdone. It’s like Mars with orgasm but more ubiquitous.

The Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows were underwhelming. The two matte shades appear the same on camera.
I was offended by Tom Ford Bitter Peach its Repeat Bitch Pangram.
There’s something about Charlotte Tilbury’s products I am not crazy about. They don’t seem to either come across as they look, or they don’t last at all. No longevity at all. I truly think her marketing secret is hype and advertising. Because I have hardly found a product that is holy grail. They are all just so disappointing 😕
