THANKS!!! At first I confused with songo on conga I think sharing some phrases most specific at the end of the phrases with the last 2 dry hits with the right hand. I did that swing as natural way to play in the church when I was young until now I learn with you masters the correct name, thanks!!! You are an Great Masters and Blessing!!!

Erick mi hermanito, ese es el pattern original de la guaracha con algun cambio ligero en la digitación, y variaciones, por supuesto el montuno de la guaracha cambia solo en que en la hembra se adicionan dos golpes , uno en la ultima semicorchea del 3er tiempo y el otro en la primera semicorchea del 4to tiempo, pensandolo en 4/4 por supuesto. Fui años atras professor en la ENA, Cuba. Lo que pasa es que en muchas canciones no se utiliza el ritmo que la lirica pregona, por ejemplo, hay Canciones que siendo Sones hablan que la Rumba esta buena y eso no las hace rumba, , eso es lo que pasó con esas guarachas que fueron dedicadas al ritmo pilón, o la lirica comenta sobre el sabroso Pilón, . Hasta en estos tiempos pasa, por ejemplo: Pitbull en una de sus canciones "I know you want me" dice: Ella quiere su Rumba. Y sin embargo el ritmo no es ninguno que pertenezca al complejo de la Rumba. El hace musica Urbana. Te sigo desde Miami he visto tu progreso y tienes talento para llegar al Cielo. Bendiciones y Abrazos 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇺🇮🇱🇺🇲

Thanks for explaining. Saw others playing it during soundchecks. Used to take lessons from the conguero of a Santana-/latinrock-band, and he taught me a different version of the pilon. Liked the pattern but I yet have to use it at band rehearsals.
