Silver Salmon Fishing - Alaska 2023

9 friends, 1 goal. Catch as many Silver Salmon as possible over a 6 day period. Hiking, wading and fly fishing all in the name of an epic Alaskan adventure in Cordova, Alaska on the Alagnak River and its tributaries.

Dont know what it's like trying to reel in a silver salmon. I know reds n chums dont put up much fight other then king or silver salmon, they say that Chinook n coho fight the hardest. Just last year, after casting my golden plated hook 8-10 feet out, soon as it hit the water. something took a bite of my hook n it tried swimming away with my hook n eventually did after i fought it for more then a few minutes. It nearly pulled into the river

The Alagnak Empties into the Kvichak in Bristol Bay not near Cordova.
