  • The most common problem affecting the operation of a manifold set is the
pistons being worn, and debris and grime build up affecting the seal or
making the valves hard to turn. Learn how to rebuild your YELLOW JACKET
TITAN 2-valve or TITAN 4-valve manifold using our Complete TITAN Rebuild Kit
    (#41081 for the 2-valve and #41082 for the 4-valve).

To anyone watching this video, if your gauges are super worn out like mine, tapping the sight glass would not work. Breaking the glass is super unnecessary, you will not get all the shards out and that will contaiminant a system, possibly cause a restriction. Use your nitrogen. That's what I did. So yes you can use pressure. I simply put all the valves back in place, put 200 psi of nitrogen in my gauges with my hand covering the glass and it popped right out. Nothing dangerous at all.

I bought the 41081, and the new pistons are considerably wider that the originals. They will not fit into my manifold. Crapped on by Ritchie once again

Lets see i got a atd set of ac gauges last time with garbage plastic handles that broke , i used two or three times then the yellow hose leaked , i always bleed them when im done too , the next set was a pittsburgh ac manifold set i used it one time and the next use the yellow hose leaked , i got a old set of r22's but the lines fittings are threaded to a smaller brass fitting ..they really don't need to reinvent the wheel next time they change there freon , we know its all bullshit anyway , if they were really worried about gas released in the air they would stop screwing with the fitting size ? Are they stupid ? I know it so you cant mix them , you think you can come up something thats compatable , its not that difficult ...we use propane sometimes , its all the same junk ..

The torque being used to remove those screws is a bit high.. please use a screwdriver not your impact or normal drill lol

You don't think that yellow jacket knows what they are doing buddy?
These steps are exactly what they use on the production line and how they built your gauges. Im sure she knows what's she's doing.
