he and other youtubers have mentioned youtube is now weird with links.. some links get flagged as harmful or something not super sure. also name of mod and creator are now pinned.
What a cute mod! Modders work so hard and do such an amazing job!
In the meantime the Sims 4 official team is absolutely silent on the roadmap, blooming rooms kit, and the additional bug fixes they promised on twitter, and no sale in sight still either.

the sizing down to a tiny fairy is just so good! 🧚🏻🧚🏻🧚🏻 tha transitions too from turning into a tiny fairy, and turning into a tree is nice. It's not weird and wonky. The modders did an absolutely amazing job!!

I think we might be getting a fairy pack soon but the thing is, I'm already convinced it won't be as good as this mod. I'd still like for fairies to be an official occult though so I've got such mixed feels about getting a fairy pack. I hope the mod creator will be able to join his mod with a possible fairy pack somehow. Well.. actually I have much more faith in modders than EA so I guess he'll manage
He integrated his werewolf mod pretty well with the EA werewolf pack when that eventually came, so I can now have two different types of werewolves (the mod werewolves are now called Lycans) with different appearance, skills, objects and lore, but you can also use Lycan social interactions on werewolves, like asking them about fur hygiene or if transformation hurts.
I feel like fairies should have been an offshoot of the mages already. Like it makes the most sense to me, especially since the RoM pack has furniture that gives a high fantasy appeal. It's like how Werewolves and Vampires feel made to be rivals from the same pack.
To quote Satch, The Sims 4 could never.

You can clearly tell that half of the things you can do come from the sims 3 faries which is really cool i wish that ea would just remake aspects from other sims games into the sims 4😢
Im with the consensus that, if EA put this much effort into their "expansion packs", then a lot of players would be pleased and happy. I actually really like TS4, it is an amazing game with tons of things to do. I dont think people should really get bored with it, as it's level of detail is quite something. If people find it boring then they must lack some degree of imagination. However, EA's Expansions are a shadow of what they were during the TS1 - TS3 day. I can see a lot of TS3 Supernatural elements here, which was an incredible game.
I don't want to pretend to doing something the game does not recognize it. It's not the lack of imagination, I draw and create worlds for a living, so I don't lack imagination. When I play a video game, I want to play not imagine and pretend something is happening when it's not. The problem with sims 4 and why people get bored with it is NEVER about the lack of imagination, it's the lack of gameplay.
I have plenty of imagination - I'm a writer and a fulltime artist, lol. But no one ever played the sims, much less any game for that matter, with the hopes of playing make believe nonstop because nothing you do has any real impact on gameplay. The sims have no personalities in Sims 4 and nothing has meaning or depth or real consequence. The moments of drama in my game are usually bugs, such as my newly created sim couple instantly hating each other and stating they caught one another flirting with someone else when they've literally only been "alive" for 2 seconds and haven't even seen another sim yet. The Sims 4 is lazy and has no soul.
I have 6,000 hours in The Sims 4 and over 60g of CC and SOMEHOW I missed this mod. The scream that I scrumpt when I saw the sheer complexity of this mod. SpinningPlumbobs deserves an award.
I don't think that EA could ever come close to that mod. How many pack come with TWO ocult ?
Your fairy should avoid the Surge spell. That is, unless you want him/her to endlessly use it on his own electronics.

How are EA and the sims team not insanely embarrassed? This mod is 1000x better than anything they’ve come out with in the whole life time of sims 4.
If TS4 wasn't currently a game breaking buggy mess I'd 100% get the update, but it is a buggy mess threatening to delete and corrupt saves so I am refusing to even touch the game

I know it's not the modder's fault, but those white outlines lining the plane meshes that have the wing texture annoy me sooo much. But absolutely amazing mod! Applauds to the creator!
Yeah, I also don’t love that issue. :/ I tried to see if it’s possible to disable the outline for certain CAS items, but it’s not possible as of now. However, I recommend using my Animated Wings mod! It works great with FvW and interestingly, the white outline for objects automatically conforms to the texture, so that issue doesn’t show up. :)
Edit: Also, the animated wings don’t conflict with the sim’s clothing textures because they’re a separate object, which is awesome! ;)

Not trying to put some of the players down, but really... HOW are Fairies being added in OFFICIALLY gonna make the game better/more fun?
I can only understand why console players would want an official update of Fairies because they literally can't use Mods.
Yes, that is the main point. But there may also be different traits, items, magic systems, and so on in an official pack. The official werewolf pack and this modder's werewolf mod (they are now called Lycans) can be used in parallel and have different appearances, objects, and lore, but also some overlap.

I have been waiting for fairies for ever.. I have the realm of magic and the mermaid packs. I loved the sims 3 supernatural pack and now it feels like a shell of what it was. This mod seems so cool❤

I didn't even know they had a big update, I installed it for the first time yesterday for my Fables/Wolf Among Us save!
Also a heads up some of the cc clothing that comes with the mod do not work on pregnant sims or sims with custom body presets!

Yup. They can be little fairies and fly around.
The fairy state (and the witch state too) can now be inherited I believe. Now, I haven't fully tested the mod 2.0 version with children, toddlers and infants BUT in the 1.0, children could already learn some spells, work on fairy magic. Their magic had to be awakened by the fairy parent and they would get the young fairy trait! (My most chaotic child sim learnt how to put everything on fire 😅)

Oh man, not used to seeing those sad, static wings. Should have grabbed the animated wings addon for the mod. Makes it feel 10000% better! Though maybe it's not compatible with this new update, and the sizing down.

I really like this mod, but I hope they fixed the glitch where fairies don't automatically change their outfits when going to bed/swimming pool and don't get undressed when going to shower/bath 😭

I just deinstalled the sims 4. I've given up at this point, even if I love my mods. It takes me more time to repair the game and update the mods than to actually play
