The endless RV renovation 😂😂
@@Theendlessadventure , yup, but with your personalities, humor and good vibes, I'm totally fine with a long lasting RV renovation; it's just fun to watch you guys. Also: LOVE the 80s TV intro, lol!
Looking Nice .. cannot Wait for the final reveal.. good Luck Adventures 😌🤞🏽💪🏿🙌🏼🤓
Don't forget to put a center support on the front of the slide out part of the bed...
About the trim covering the imperfections... Way long ago on Trading Spaces, Frank did say: There are no errors in my work. Only opportunities for embellishment.
omg. The year anniversary of the rv is Coming up. I remember watching these in lockdown😭
You should think about adding a third leg in the middle. With the outer legs to the far outside you will probably end up with sagging. Looking good so far!
Yes, and the sagging itself can make it almost impossible to pull out and push in without wiggling and yanking.
Install another strip perpendicular. You're literally relying on the weakest way to use the wood. The side edge board will sag less if you face another board perpendicular and underneath for strength.
The highlight of our weekend! 😁
Husband is so excited you're back to renovating. Thanks for all the fabulous videos!!!
And now back to the endless RV show. Love from Scotland
The only problem I see with the warehouse is no more visits from Marvin ☹️😭
Your first vid on my new laptop gifted from my son. THNX Char .
You two really work well together on camera. All this work and not one swear word at each other or the project 🙉🙊🙉🙊
Use "Teflon" blocks/strips inbetween your sliding boards and on the walls on the bed to make it easy to move in and out plus keep it aligned.
That’s wonderful...well done! Just add a centre support on the pullout part so all your hard work doesn’t come apart when it’s extended.
One improvement would have been to have the front raised when collapsed, and level when pulled out. Seating is always more comfortable like this: think of an Adirondack chair... You do this by having all the slats supported by the front assembly and when you slide it closed, you have to lift it a couple inches so that when closed fully, the assembly is resting on a 1"x1" (or "taller" as desired...) which gives it the raised front behind the knees. You can then use holes / dowels so that when you lower down the front it settles onto some dowels sticking up so it won't come forward on it's own when driving or sitting on it to "fall off" of the 1"x1"... But when you pull it out (after lifting off the dowels to free it) it will sit and make the whole thing level for bedding... To avoid the weight, I would have just painted under there... it's just storage...
But enjoying the care and details in your construction!
I think some tracks on the ends with some rollers would make it waaaay more smooth and professional. The design is really elegantly simple as is though
Just wanted to Thank You for your videos. We are in the process of renovating a 1990 Gulf Stream Sun Chaser here in Georgia. I was about ready to throw in the towel on mine, but seeing your video gives me the motivation to keep going. My wife and I look forward to your videos and thanks for the inspiration to keep going. Richard
The one intro you just can’t skip through 💕
Yaaaaasssss the RV returns 🤩🤩🤩
So excited for this new episode. I’m buying a camper trailer in 2weeks to renovate and live in full time and you guys are one of biggest inspirations into getting one to fix up
How exciting!! Hopefully your renovation goes a bit smoother (and quicker 😅) than ours! Best of luck 🛠
I've been watching older videos of yours and you were talking about getting a camper approximately 3 years ago. Good thing you waited until now because of the pandemic crap.
There's custom rv cushions you can get made to your specifications. So you could choose how firm or soft you would want it.
You two are a breath of fresh air in this crazy time !
Thank you , looks fantabulous, looking forward to the next installment. 🚌
LEaW used the same type of bed system, very cool!
It is so good to see you actually building it back. That sofa bed is fantastic, and I am eager to see where you go next with it all.
I can't wait to see the final rv product. Y'all will be proud of what you've accomplished!
Great work. One question. When you pull the bed out,You have no support on the corners when it's fully .out. maybe you can have some supports you can put in both corners when u use it.
Nice video as usual, the thing with mistakes is that if you learn from them, then they are no longer mistakes. And about hiding things with trim, that's what trim is for!
Brilliant. Can't wait to see finished RV. You're doing amazing job.
I'm so proud of you guys! The sofa bed is amazing, you're getting pro! Can't wait to see the final result of the RV!!
You two are amazing. If my husband and I were doing this (which we couldn't) it would be endless bickering vs endless adventures!
You are going to be so proud when you finish your remodel. I’ve done RV and motor home I wanted so much to do a complete remodel for the interior, but it was not something I could afford. Lucky both of you are very inventive. 👍👍👍
This is probably the only CZcams channel where I don't skip the intro! lol
Watching this renovation has been a trip beck in time. I worked for Coachmen in 1976 In Goshen Indiana and built these very motor homes. My Job was in Final Finish and i checked all the LP lines for leaks and water lines for Leaks and 120 volt Electric for Shorts.
Very good job. Stay safe and warm. Walk in Peace.
I agree with others that you really need a center support leg on the bed slide-out. However, i was also thinking that when you swing up the bed to access underneath all of those legs will get in your way. You really should add access door panels to the front of that bed so that you can have quick access to the inside without having to fold the bed up. Just my 2 cents.
Now that you are starting to get the walls closed up you can really start to get an idea of the space.
I love the accent wall you guys did!
The camper is gonna be so cool when finished guys...exciting.. 🙂👍
We did peel and stick vinyl in my daughter’s room. Once the glue cures it doesn’t budge. A couple pieces got banged up from her bed but you just remove and replace them.
*cues music* "That's what trims are for ..."🎶
You two continue to amaze us with your creativity and woodworking - renovating skills!! Bravo!! 👏 Great job!! ~Cara 😍
Thank you! I drink from the Black Box! It saves the earth! And, it saves my sanity😉
You're going to wish you kept the generator, they are a must have when "boondocking",especially if the batteries fail and you can't start the RV...or need suficient lighting for working on it at night if need be.
Never knew wood placement is so soothing. When the put the bed into the slot I desintigrated 😫🙌🏾
You two are an amazing couple. I loved watched your travel blogs but seeing what you have achieved with the RV is a credit to your determination to make it work. Look forward to seeing the finished product & watch your new adventures.
I’m renovating a 2005 Class C right now as well and a just love watching you two make lemonade out of lemons!😎
I wish I would have done this years ago when I was young and adorable like you guys!😍 Keep up the great videos,
Y’all are keeping me going!!!🥰
I’m so proud that your fold out couch has worked so far!! I can’t wait for the next episode because it just gets better!
But do you know why they built it when they already have sleeping quarters above the driver and passenger seats?
With all the breaks you all have taken, for your road trips you have gotten really far along in your RV reno.
That time away you're taking I think is very important keeps a person sane where for some taking time away from a project would distract most I think it motivates you all.
think of it like this the sooner you complete your build the sooner you can have new adventures in the RV
Boxed wine: My heroes!!!! lol Love the design!!
Guyyys, you did such a great job on the pull out bed! I love Eric's precision drawings, and PS.. sanding is hard work, go Alison 👌🏼😊
Yay! A section done!
Glad you had a good time in good old Kentucky, that’s were I am from. Love your RV. I don’t know if you have a hot water heater yet but look into the on demand hot water tanks. I put one in my RV and what an awesome upgrade! Hot water never runs out!
omg dope I have a slat bed in my prius. yes, the mobile disco stealth camper Prius. hah Love your videos and personalities :)
@@Theendlessadventure uniquely modified! I will share soon maybe I can tag you on Instagram :D
You two are adorable! Hello from Port Angeles, Wa the Strait of Juan Da Fuca!
So excited that the build videos are back! :D
Thanks for giving us an insight to what it takes to renovate an RV and the huge amount of work it entails. Hope that you can finish soon and head out on the roads 😊
👏👏👏 as a carpenter from the UK 🇬🇧 you are both doing a great job at this RV 👏 👍 Me and the Mrs think you guys are great and make us laugh every time ,we look forward to many more excellent videos in the finished RV..
Glad your back to working on the RV.
So much progress! Glad for the inside space to work in. You two make me smile every time I watch a video!!
Can’t wait to see more of the RV renovation!
Wondering which is going to be over first, the renovation or the pandemic.
Great Job to both of you. Eric, when you return the bed back into the wall and the slats was not lining up and hitting the end, sanding the ends is a good idea but the wood might bow with usage so you might want to put a cross beam in the middle to hold the the stationary side and also when pushing back the movable side, the slates will not be hindered on the wall side and slide into place.
Ahhh, you've come so far on the RV!!! Exciting. U 2 installed the sofa bed frame in record time...must be the vodka in Erics mug😉 cute intro shot.
I REMEMBER THESE FOLKS...VACATIONS IN SWEDEN ETC. CUTE COUPLE.
Absolutely need support for the end of the slide out bed to take the weight of persons sitting or sleeping on the slide out section.
Thanks for the idea
Thank you for this video my daughter, son and I just built one ourselves and nailed it. Looks amazing!!!
Great work guys!👍🤠
I've been rebuilding my RV as well. I've been using Power Pro brand screws. They're all Torx rather than Philips, and they're AMAZING. They don't strip, they don't split the wood, they don't slip around. They're more expensive than some of the other screws out there, but I've found I have essentially zero issues with them. They're at Lowe's -- 100% worth checking out.
All I can say is that I LOVE the progress you've made. Thank you for sharing with all of us!
Wow!!!! That looks so good! You guys knocked it out of the park! That’s going to be so functional. Keep up the great job!
So proud of you guys! Looks like it's finally coming together!!!
Boxed wine ...Goon 🤣🤣 you can thank Australia for that 🤣🤣🤣
The RV is looking so good. I love that you are both making the most of the current situation and doing this project. The sofa looks awesome! Great work.
That bench/bed looks GREAT! What a nice fixture it will be for you guys!
Good job guys. Watching you finish it.
Great job guys!, your putting plenty of thought into it all and I love your ethos of "it does not have to be perfect" using trim with the out of sight out of mind technique is the way to go for sure keeping those stress levels as low as possible.
Love your energy!
yay loving that is actually coming together finally ☺️ great job guys
Well done guys. I'm so impressed with the progress that you're making. 🤩
So fun to watch you guys! We are getting a little teardrop and are looking forward to decking it out ourselves.
Nice work on the pullout! Simple and functional all in one! You guys always seem to have a fun time no matter what you are doing in your videos! We certainly enjoy them!
Well done. Both of you .
Have to give it to you guys for your patience and dedication. Great job!
Your doing a wonderful job. If you can Insulate on the outside of your water lines that way they won't freeze. Just a thought. At least when you get done you have what you want like you want not what someone else thank you want. Your RV friend😎👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Get a large framing square. Gets great right angles over longer distances
Aaaaaah i’m excited for you, guys! I’m anxious to see it ready
The pull-out couch...great idea!
So happy you finally got back to working on the RV. I always look forward to seeing the progress.
Looove these episodes of your RV reno. It’s so fun to watch and we all learn from it!!
Wow! You guys are so good at this! I’m so impressed with what you guys can do!

It’s amazing you guys!!! I am proud of you ! I think you guys are truly good people and it shows !
Your intro is still the best!!! Love it!!! Hang in there guys!
Glad you got an inside space to work in! Looking forward to more RV reno vids! It's fun to see it go back together!
Found you two Because I was trying to do a little research I am in the market for a RV and the one I’m looking at is the same one you guys have.I watched this episode and found it entertaining educational and fun thank you guys you now have a new subscriber. Much love from Northern California
Lovely and Brilliant...... See you in the next video........
Wow what a beautiful job.
I have absolutely LOVED this series. It was fun and interesting and you two are lovely. And I love the intro - it’s like real opening credits of an American sit com 😆 I went back to the start and watched every episode and it was awesome. Love Marvin too 🐕 ♥️👍
You two: “We are not professional wood workers.”
Also you two: proceeds to literally build an epic RV interior and custom furniture.
🤣🤣 touché!
I felt that one...they are literally killing it and super humbled :D
@@wilderjess they're doing a great job at it.
My actual thoughts 😅
@@edwardparkhurst9804 I almost bought one 3x! Decided to mod my Prius instead since I’m solo haha and live vicariously 😍 these guys started my obsession with CZcams channels during qurantine. I wasn’t hip 😂
