This is not true. I am English and some Winters can go to way below freezing. I remember being off from school for several weeks in the early1980s. The coldest ever recorded temperature in England was -26.1 C in 1982; - 27.2 C in Scotland. There are ski resorts in Scotland.

Anyway, Brexit will make the Scots split from the UK and make Ireland reunite again. Probably the best thing BoJo has ever done. Us Germans love (and hate) being reunited.
