Is DAT riff all downpicked?
It depends how you feel comfortable with it.. some can play it down an others up and down... My friend does it either way.. I'm guessing it sounds better a certain way.. similar to blackened by metallica.. it sounds much better up an down picking.. sorry I don't know the actual names for the techniques I didn't try or learn it. I can't even tune by ear an I've been playing for about 6 to 7 years...
