Taehyung took my breath away with his first solo album Layover. His taste in music and his vocals really are perfect to me. The title song for this album is Slow Dancing. You may want to react to that too. The mv really is artistic. He created this world where you can his see his preferences like his beloved dog (Pomeranian), his fave artist’s (Van Gogh) starry night’s colour palette everywhere. Finally, the tiny desk concert was fantastic. You need to react to that.

I didn't recognize Sylvia until she started singing. LOL. Yes, show her the Tiny Desk Korea. That production was beautiful, the harmonies that she mentioned with the backup singers, plus the live band!
This entire album is way too short! Like, this was just a salad and appetizer! LOL
Not to mention V IS SO HANDSOME!!! He loves jazz.. his wheel house!! But did a great job being with BTS and I heard his key had to be adjusted to accommodate the group!! It was said on suga show.

Layover is the album name, and there are two music videos you haven't seen yet. Have you shown her Slow Dancing and Blue yet? Those are awesome as well. Slow Dancing is the title track for the album, and a total vibe. Blue is totally bluesy. And he has an amazing live Tiny Desk Korea concert that you would love. Live saxophone and soprano sax. He does three songs live, Love Me Again, Slow Dancing, and For Us.

Thank you for reacting to Taehyung's songs, we appreciate it. Last monday, December 11, Taehyung enlisted in the military. He has applied at the Special Duty Team, a counterterrorism unit of the Capital Defense Command. But before he left for the military he recorded a song with UMI, an American singer and songwriter. And it will be release next year. He also participated in IU's MV which will be out next year also. We just don't know if he will also sing with IU. He left us lots of contents to watch out for while he is in the military.

Luckily we will get something with him and IU in the coming months when sh releases her album. Ugh the suspense will surely kill us all. On a side note, since you are so talented and love to react to talented singe, I have a recommendation for you. It’s not KPop but it is. Chinese pop singer. Zhou Shen. Check out his song Ring the Doorbell and Listen to Myself. He is huge in China. He is a natural contra tenor who can comfortably sing as a soprano. A beautiful ethereal voice packed with power. He can sing in different languages and speaks at least 7 different languages and can switch voices while singing that you would think he is in a group versus a soloist.
The album is great to listen to just before going to sleep but I forget them to take the CD out the CD player in the morning.
About the military service, all the BTS members are now enlisted as of December 12, 2023. RM and V enlisted on the 11th, and Jimin and Jungkook on the 12th. They will all be back by June 2025, and they will be coming back together as a group. V actually decided to challenge himself. He is training for SDT, the Special Duty Team (SDT), which is the program that BTS V has decided to join.
The Special Task Force is a military police unit responsible for various operations, including counter-terrorism, initial response to violent crimes, VIP protection, arrest of armed deserters within the military, disaster relief, special operations, and mobile strikes in urban areas.
To secure a position in the SDT, individuals must personally apply. If they pass the initial document stage, they are then required to undergo a practical test as part of the selection process. Members of this unit undergo intensive training to handle critical situations. Notably, V's actor friend, Park Hyung Sik, was also a part of this unit. Many have praised V for his courageous decision to be a part of the Special Task Force. Of course BTS ARMY are very proud of him. Apparently Jungkook also wanted to enlist in the Special Task Force, but he couldn't because of his tattoos.

Ohkay, For Us should have a remix with a female singer with him in winter (this hits better now, imo) and her in summer, and it's ambiguous if they are in same time, different hemispheres OR different years (they are looking back)*. And when the song flips is when the girl takes vocal lead, and you reveal that ambiguity. AM I OVERTHINKING? Perhaps. But one can dream.
*Not EXO sci-fi lore/NJ Ditto complex, tho. No shade.
