Riley B. King (September 16, 1925 - May 14, 2015), known professionally as B. B. King, was an American blues guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending, shimmering vibrato, and staccato picking that influenced many later blues electric guitar players. AllMusic recognized King as "the single most important electric guitarist of the last half of the 20th century".

👏 THIS is ONE prime example of why B. B. King IS, and known as, one of the ‘Three Kings of Blues’ (with Al + Freddie King). I’m 70ish now and have always 💟’d ALL genres of music, but for the blues category I think B.B. is about the 🌟 best of them! * FYI: I’ve seen live duet performances (in videos) King did with Pavarotti, Clapton, Tracey Chapmen, and many other ‘unexpected’ style artists, that I thought were excellent! Plus, the blues “ain’t the blues” without a 👍 sax 🎷player either!
