I got a 1990 Massey Ferguson 3070 cab 2wd w/loader. It runs and drives excellent. You have a really nice 1105 Massey. I have the same Massey Ferguson 4 bottom plow 4.16's as you do. They do a really good job turning over the ground.
If its a factory turbo model it should be a 6-354 dot 4 When Perkins installed turbos they beefed up the crank shaft journals to 4 bolts hence the .4 ,, they are a very nice motor , there was one in a 40 ft wooden ferry here in Gladstone , Aussie that had 13000 hrs up and the motor hadn't been touched ,,
1st M-F 1105 I have seen without a cab! interesting . Your quite wright take care of her & she take care of You . I love my M-F's , a 1959, 50 & 2018 ,1526 & even if the are 61 yrs. apart they compliment each other sometimes 1 is not enough, the newer one has 4wd & a loader, something the old gal did not have , but the old gal (50) does other chores , they are both ( KEEPERS )
Good looking original 1105 you got there, You have one of the few I have ever seen without a cab ! Them 354 Perkins diesels are good strong engines and they got put in a lot of different tractors and combines and some trucks too ! You have a tractor I would like to have myself, Someday who knows ? Keep up the great work your doing. Bandit
When I was young papaw had an 1105 with a cab and when we quit farming it went down the road. Kinda funny story here it is 10 years later and at work today I saw an 1105 come in on the truck and I had to look and I found papaw's initials scratched into the front axle.
It's in awful shape it's going to our junk yard. Im sure I can go get it anytime I want but theres a time when sentimental value isn't out weighing whats feasible. I will do everything possible to get his 3020 JD tho!
thank you for showing me your 1105. I have always thought the 1105 was a pretty tractor with its squared off front and crisp lines. showing me your plow did me a giant favor. I found my coulters but am having mounting issues with the only U-bolt clamps I have found wanting larger tool bars than I have. looks like my plow and your plow have the same size rail where your coulters are bolted on. 1 in. by 3 in. and I could see yours are bolted through the rail and not U-bolt clamped on. going to be tough to drill but its looking like the option I'll be taking. thanks for the video. Best 2U Massey1105driver.
Soybean Farmer thank you and thanks for watching. I hope you have good luck mounting those coulters.it might take so tricky engineering to get them mounted.
Still have them both. We don't use the 1135 very much anynore it's actually for sale. We bought a 3650 so that kind of replaced it. We like the 1105 on our silage blower though, it's good for that.
Masseys are tough tractors. I have a '71 1100 with cab and 4400 hrs. Aside from needing an accumulator bottle for the original floating seat, everything works as when new. It currently needs new rear tires and I'm thinking of switching from 34s to 38s. It's had an easy life and as my chore tractor, it will be around long after I've left this world. I hope to pass it to my son someday. Anyway, Very nice tractor, bud!
Those thing are built like a pitt bull...tough as hell. I have an out of frame rebuild on my perkins 354 and its cold blooded too, but great engines nevertheless!
Nice video! My uncle has an 1135. Other than that dang short shift lever it's a nice tractor. It's just an eight speed with no power shift. Does your 1105 have a partial power shift
Massey1105driver I was just curious I've been trying to find out for my grandfather. He doesn't want to spend the money on a manual for the 1105 he just bought but he wants me to find everything out for him. Gets kind of hard sometimes
Massey1105driver ok I was wondering my jd 6410 needs new rears and it has 18.4-38 I thought about going to a 20.8 not sure my 18.4 are about 6 feet tall as well
Smalltown Farmer88 I have to think there would be a little difference in height. Maybe only a couple inches or so, your tire guy should be able to tell you.

You as well friend!
Thanks bud, I'll see what I can do in the spring.

Bandit farmer thanks bandit, I wish it had a cab some days. Hope everything is going well down your way, see you on the next one.

Nice tractor, love them Perkins, very efficient.
David Dahl thank you, it gets the job done. Thanks for watching.
Nice looking tractor. We have both the 1105 and the 1135 they were good machines in their day. Ours both have 18.4-38's on them.
Mac102004 Farms cool, do you still have them or are they gone.
Still have them both. We don't use the 1135 very much anynore it's actually for sale. We bought a 3650 so that kind of replaced it. We like the 1105 on our silage blower though, it's good for that.
Mac102004 Farms how many horsepower is the 3650? I have seen it in your videos, very nice clean tractor.
Thanks, that 3650 was repainted last winter, and we put some new tires on it as well. It's 130 PTO HP, same engine as the 1105/1135.
These are really nice tractors. I just bought one really like it so far. great video.
bessert farms thank you, they are reliable tractors. Where are you located? Looks like you have red clay soil, kind of like Georgia.
Massey1105driver North East Wisconsin.. pure red clay out here. Hard to work that ground but grows good crops.

Thanks for the kind words and for watching! Does your 1100 have multi power or 8 speed transmission?
@@Masseydriver Hey bud. It has multi-power.
Solid looking tractor.
Those thing are built like a pitt bull...tough as hell. I have an out of frame rebuild on my perkins 354 and its cold blooded too, but great engines nevertheless!
nice video, our 2640 is just the handest tractor lol, with a loader, does every thing we want it to do
C&J FARMS thanks, yeah a loader would come in handy.
yah, if you get that money tree planted haha lol, you can find your self a good westendorf wl-42
C&J FARMS sounds like a plan.
Nice sized tractor!
larsonvalleyfarm yes it is. It's one of those do all size tractors. Thanks for watching.
we had a 2745,. had the Perkins,. horrendous problems,.
broadviewacres yes, that series had terrible transmissions in them.
Right around the corner from you we got two 1135 and two 1155 and 1100
Massyman82 cool, where you located?
Yo Tego un Massey serie 2705 y son muy fuertes y economicos
Nice video! My uncle has an 1135. Other than that dang short shift lever it's a nice tractor. It's just an eight speed with no power shift. Does your 1105 have a partial power shift
Jake Ziegler Thanks Jake. Yes mine has the multi power shift with the 3 forward speeds.
Can you do a video on how to drive it and what is the difference between a mf 1105 and a mf 1085?
jacob sure I can.
Why farm then, just sell seeds from the tree! Lol great old red tractor
DLK HAY thanks, never thought about that. Good idea.
nice tractor thanks for the information on it. does it have the multi power?
Josh Timer yes it does. I guess I forgot to mention that in my rambling. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching.

Josh Timer thank you and that would be great. I sure did and I hope you did also.
i have 3 massey ferguson super 95
joey costa that's awesome. You should make a video of them sometime. I bet a lot of people would like to see them.
Hi, you know where I could get the diesel indicator?
Humver 10 not sure what you mean? Fuel gauge?
We have a 2705 gets abused. Only used for pit pump for liquid manure
FarmerTate 658 that probably about all its good for. That series is notorious for bad transmissions.
Did that bad bearing go out?
Fastestinthewest the rear end went out of it a few years back, but it’s fixed and been good since. Thanks for watching.
What engine oil does the 1105 take?
Dillan Groves I use 15W-40 in it.
Massey1105driver I was just curious I've been trying to find out for my grandfather. He doesn't want to spend the money on a manual for the 1105 he just bought but he wants me to find everything out for him. Gets kind of hard sometimes
Are the 20.8-38 any taller than a 18.4-38
Smalltown Farmer88 I am thinking they are, but not positive. These tires are close to 6 feet tall.
Massey1105driver one would think they could they just give me I’m not really sure you just have to order one and see
Smalltown Farmer88 I did some googling and best I can tell there is about a 3 inch difference in height between the two.
