- David Feiss is this weeks guest, the creator of Cow and Chicken! David tells us how Cow and Chicken came to be, his time working at Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network. His first job in the industry and so much more. David was an all around great person. He was very gracious with his time and his stories. This was one of my first interviews, I was nervous and David was a standup guy!

It’s crazy to think that Cow and Chicken first started off as a bedtime story and then became this big, awesome cartoon show.
It’s wild ain’t it?
I Am Weasel started off as a single draw by Feiss of a weasel along a caption reading "I Am Weasel" and an idea loosely influenced by his favorite book as a teen, I Am Legend.
David is a genius, love how funny cow and chicken is.. it’s crazy because even as an adult I can still watch it..
It’s a fantastic show for sure
The way weasle fixes the neck of a lady in i am weasle cartoon is pretty much the funniest shot ever landed on cartoon network.

David Feiss's art style is so good
It truly is fantastic. It’s also one of my favorite shows ever! Also not sure if you know but you should check us out on the audio side. The eps come out a day early and no ads. Some folks don’t like it being broken up by ad breaks, and I understand, but I also do like making a little something in hopes to get out of my day job 😀 if you can sub to apple, Spotify or wherever else you get your podcasts and leave us a rating and a review

During the merger of Turner Broadcasting System & Time Warner (now WarnerMedia) in 1996, Feiss already created Cow and Chicken for Cartoon Network as a show.

The main thing is if they made a sequel series or a movie for Cow and Chicken, they would have to recast Flem because Howard Morris passed away a little over a decade ago.
You should've asked him about I Am Weasel too. Weasel was as much successful and popular as Cow and Chicken. By the way, there are original I Am Weasel and Cow and Chicken airdates which still aren't publicly known and David Feiss may know about them, it's for Wikipedia.
I should have asked him a lot of questions that I didn’t. This was one of my first interviews I did when I started this podcast.

I think Cow and Chicken is an underrated cartoon, and Cartoon Network not considering to bringing back proves some of my thoughts. It's a cartoon that works both for kids and adults and I believe they blend well with other H-B characters, so it's a late classic.
