You guys are the new face of trucking and need to carry on the tradition that previous OTR drivers had ! Remember it’s an honor and a privilege to be called a TRUCKER ! It takes P.H.A.T. To be a trucker , that’s Passion / Honesty / Attitude / Tenacity and that’s the code I lived by !
Now that y’all have Whiskey Bent now you need another truck to be named Hell Bound
I said the same thing I like the way you think
Definitely wanna see a harness built
Me to
At least he takes pride in his ride!
No shame in that.
No at least there! That’s all positive
Seeing how grumpy your driver got at the possibility of the truck getting dirty is good, many drivers wouldn't do that especially when it's not their truck. You certainly got yourself a good driver there 👍
That was his drivers truck. he just bought it used about a month ago maybe if that long. Tim helped him fix it up some and is now contracting to him he has been driving for them for 2 years
Roll on whiskey 😆💯❤️ pretty pete
It would be cool seeing a video on how to make that harness! Keep up the videos, they are awesome!!
Have one on my W9. Extend the wires and mount the rheostat inside the truck. Convenient not having to stop and open the hood every time you want to adjust it
Yep, that's what we did. I don't have time to stop and open the hood all the time. And when I see a DOT doucher, it's nice to be able to turn it all the way down. "Nothing to see here sir."
Is it only for cat motors
@@devinlewis3509 yes
Let's see how you make the harness. I have made non adjustable harness . I have always been a kenworth guy even though paccar builds Peterbilt and kenworth the difference is huge. Seeing both of you guys Petes is making me like Pete really like Peterbilt 379 and 389 model. Whiskey bent dash is bad ass
Driver shows a lot love to YOUR TRUCK! Wish I had employees like this
I really miss driving a hood. Used to drive for a small company. Drove a 2015 389 glider with a Cummins red top 550hp, 18sp. Other motorists actually showed me curtesy. Only left because the pay wasn’t all that great. Now I drive for OD pulling doubles in a cookie cutter cascadia gov at 65mph…. Absolutely hate the truck and gov speed but I make 6 figures a yr. Good and bad of the trucking world. Really enjoy seeing the Pete content!! I’d jump back in a hood in a heartbeat if I could make the money I’m making now.
Man that whiskey bent what a gorgeous Pete, cat just purr’s like a lion wow what a sweet upgrade, can’t wait to see more of whiskey bent 🤩
Installing those harness do NOT give you more power. It fools the Ecm to dump fuel with will spoil your turbo faster but not give you more power over all. It just comes in earlier but all in all you’ll make the same amount of boost with it with out it and boost is HP. That’s a nice Pete but throw a real tune in that thing.
You are 100% right. The boost harness will not raise the max HP at all but it will make you feel like it.
It’s called a “boost fooler”. Had the same thing on my 3rd gen Cummins. They work well though.
He needs a set of full fenders on there! Rock sings on the sleeper!
Andy M I've known him since we were kids very nice guy has gave me parts for my car, and worked on my truck for nothing. One very big ass nice guy
Nothing wrong with keeping it clean, as a matter of fact, when a DOT officer see's a truck all dirty, you know he's thinking, I'll bet that lazy driver over-looks more than cleaning on that truck, then guess what that DOT officer does next, lol
Respect a guy who keeps his rig mint ...
Great video, like to see truk clean and spotless interior , that is how a truck is supposed to look.
Thank god for spring brakes I remember before that chasing trailers or getting your airlines all greasy from the fifth wheel to charge up the trailer
Spring brakes are great but they don't hold a trailer on greasy wet grass either... Wheel chocks are an amazing invention. 🤷🏻♂️
Show us please. Whiskey Bent is a real sharp rig, great job Travis.
One more thing bro,
You're a very good dad....👍👍👍👍
Have Travis get some fenders to cover the rubber on the back so he can keep his truck cleaner
Whiskey bent looking cleaner than a whistle. Y’all keep it up man 💪
This is much better! No 21min washing a truck!👍👍👍🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸
That's good to know, we got a 3406!! Thank you!! Good looking ride there driver!!
I see how you made , or at least one component looks like a dimmer dial, lolll, nice , thanks BigAl California.
I saw that too, a little rheostat action going on ..along with the diode chain,
#bringitonepa
Congratulations Travis your truck is so awesome, love the colors bet it's a sweet runner
You can tell Travis doesn't really want anybody touching his truck💯
We don’t like anyone touching our trucks but us
I never used to get the emissions until driving through Chicago on a wind less day. You can see all the exhaust from a traffic jam. Not healthy. But there has to be a middle ground between rolling coal and having a stupid def filter.
Great to see drivers looking after their truck well done Travis 👏 ✔
I stopped driving over 20 yrs.ago.but love watching your show and others.keep up the good work.
Best looking truck in the fleet by far
"When you go to California you may want to turn it all the way down" that's someone I'd drive for. He gets it
I leave mine at 10 through Cali, 😂
I’m glad your letting jimmy do the work cause that’s your life your messing with and they do that stuff for a living good job buddy I’m happy for you
Prayers for your dad and the whole Gentey family 🙏
That's is a fxcking lovely Truck I wood tack a lot of pride in his truck, she's a looker very nice, I would take care of her as well. Please keep the videos coming God bless you and your family and how is your Dad doing mate I hope he is ok now all the best for me in Scotland
Good for Travis. Keep the stuff clean.
That trucks is sweet ride that's all I got to say hey it is sweet ride got a good motor in a cat at Motors I like them damn how's your dad how's your dad doing hope you get feeling better stay safe out on the highway God bless you
Braxton looks like he’s getting quite a bit taller.
That kid’s gonna be a beast!🤘🏻
Please show me how to build one of those harnesses, hope all is well, and God Bless.
I got a Peterbilt 379 and my fleet I got a bunch of them and that's all I got to run in mine is cat Motors like a log truck radiator where you can where you can haul big heavy loads Minds mostly cat in Detroit and n14 motors and I do a lot of work I'm on trucks stay safe out on the highway keep it between the ditches and God bless you
Whiskey Bent is a beautiful truck. I’d want her shining all the time to. 😎
Right off the bat it’s the whole nine yards and all that good stuff 👍
How HONORED are y'all to have Jackstand putting that turbo kit together and Dr.TuneEmAll on the LooneyToon!! #blessedindeed
that was an awesome video please make more I love that whiskey truck it's beautiful
Yes would like to see how you build them tks in advance
%Where were you when I had my 95 KW W900L 3406E 5EK dam I miss that truck
you put a resistor in the fuel temp sensor and air intake temp sensor and gain more too
I have never seen the smoke wires make any power what so ever on a dyno. It gives you quicker spool and response that’s it. The fuel temp resistor is usually 50-60hp to the wheels.
Where do u get the resistors?
Yeah , that's all it is. They have been making these smoke wires for years. I had one one my truck that dynoed 673 and when it was taken off I noticed no difference really other then throttle response because it tells the computer that the fuel is hot and always there
you washun your truck with a bottle of watuh!! absolutely!! nice
Travis is going to get whiplash when hes behind the wheel 😂😂😂😂😂
Travis truck is beautiful. Great video.
Try with Cat ET and see yourself what perimeters readings are changed boost to 10 psi at start so it dumps more diesel and 150 ohm resistor to tell ecm diesel is 167° f hot even its cold so ecm maps fuel table accordingly hope rebuild is cheaper in area... and once fuel is already hot in summer there is no change
G'day Tim that truck looks sweet and goes good to good job great video keep up the good work all the best keep on trucking latter
I've used resistors in a bxs acert and we dyno it before and after. Numbers was 491 stock 540 with resistor. I guess it depends on what size you use but I know for a fact that they work. I ran the truck for a year before I traded it and didn't have any issues. It gave that sluggish acert instant boost quicker acceleration and close to .5 mph increase. 550hp 1850ft lbs of torque 13speed 3:42 rears I had avg 6.5 mph running west coast to Midwest with a reefer. Classic XL
Did you do the fuel temp resistor only??
Also did it roll coal like this with the ivas?
@@babyjoker360 I did boost sensor to for smoke till I got to that scale south of Las Vegas and they stopped me. They was parked in a white van on side of road and they stopped me said the truck was smoking too much. Gave me a 700.00 ticket and said if I came back in two weeks and pass the emmison test they would throw it out. So I took it off and just ran fuel temp resistor. But yes it will smoke like a train
@@diesel379x that’s they way the law works, when people don’t know what there doing they create to much emissions. And get hit with a nice fine. After a few of those your not gonna be messing with it no more.
Does the boost resistor harm the motor at all?
Don't be that guy, just put the billet 91 on there. It will make more power than you or that car is ready for! And you want be the clown that your supposed friends is goofing on behind your back about your giant turbo. Love the channel bud.
show us how to make a harness or draw it out with the list of parts
Seen this ol truck hauling a big boat through alabama today 331 south bound
"Is that the lowest setting?" Lmfao!! Sure it is...
We got some hills in our area that kill over the road trucks. Even the chicken trucks have a hard time getting up them. We even have a hill called Chicken killer because so many trucks dropped off the sides.
That whiskey Bent is one sharp ride
Travis worried about that investment. Can't say I blame him lol. Well you guy's be safe and Cheers!
I got the biggest radiator you can put in a Peterbilt and my water temperature stays at 185° all the time even climbing Sandstone that’s with the fan on before you get to it !
Must be a 2ws. I’ve got the same problem
Yes, I would like to see you build that harness so I can make one.
She' sure is a pretty truck ...co you get Scania trucks in the states . One of my favourite trucks iin Europe is a Scania 143 Hightop Cabover 550HP V8 0-60 in 8 seconds bobtail ..late 80s early90s truck..👍
Man i love the content love what you do. Your killing me waiting on the single axle dabute 😍
Porter greetings! 😎 Oh how I love a Cat engine! I drove my 1st Cat powered cabover Marmon when I was about 10 years old. Thanks to my oldest brother! 🥰 I guess I need a Cat powered rig so I can add the harness to it to get a little more ohohoh power! Please show me how to build it. 🧐✌️ I don’t care for the name of the truck, but I sure do like the truck! 🧐
Man this truck is so nice 😬💪🏻👍🏻
I used to blow "pavement princesses" off the hiway in my ole 73 359 Pete.. V12 twin turbo Detroit's pumping out 650 bhp will do that!!!
Also remember the harder you run it the more problems you are going to have.
That's right. The more fuel you burn, the sooner you reach the rebuild mark!
You should do a will it start on the pink power wheels van at the basement
Thats awesome, I just put a boost fooler on my cummins yesterday.....🤣🤣
13:00 good and illegal to have radar detector in a commercial vehicle.
I like the Jake brakes on those old classic trucks thanks for sharing Tim
What if you give them away and the person you're giving it to makes a donation to you that might be a legal loophole
Hey good job that is a cool idea on the engine it sure makes me miss trucking since it's been 10 years I got hurt on the job
How do you get hurt on the Job driving? Was it in a sleeper?
He has got nice looking truck for sure.
Good job on getting that truck right
and hes got the yellawolf love story album on the play list 🤘🏽
Ain't no feeling like Peter mobilen bump bump bump!!!!
Just seen whisky bent haul some cattle in Georgia
hate to be the debbie downer, but these waste more fuel than they should, sure you get a bit more power but your pocket is for sure going to feel it more. great videos btw love what you are doin
It needs a custom steering wheel with the Peterbilt logo in the middle
Can't wait to see the airforce cabover pull some boats that truck came out of my home town
Man o man ol whiskey shure is beautiful truck
Over fuel does not give you more horsepower in a diesel, it just smokes more!
Love your passion but put a load of corn on that truck about 30 ton I'm sure it'll do good I just want to see a load on it
Yes. Please show us how to build the harness. If you know that for other engines that would be great too.
Need 1 for this girl.
I always love to see how to piss off the Extra Pesky A###oles and make more power so do tell how do you make your harness
I would like to see how to build one of those harnesses
Wish I had time to race. Love you guys. I'm just over the rd to much.
That’s a nice Pete 💪🏻👍👍
What are you thinking is a load? 2 boats? Lmfao
Old whiskey is making some sauce now
I love whiskey pete but I still like w 900 better
Do we always have to look at the dash when you’re driving?
Me gustan esos troques eso es lo mejor me encantan mucho los felicito
I’ll take that one ☝️, you will need to paint it some other color like white, I don’t like red , is that the truck you are going to up grade, nice , lolololo, thanks BigAl California.
That is a beautiful truck
Yeap! Let's see how they are built.
Tim calling Cleetus back to test the truck out.
