I saw it on netflix and i stop watching it just when taka is gone. These 2 dude with the kid who want to be a cook chief are the principle heroes of the season to me
The entire season was trash. Almost no one was likeable. Taka was useless and that scene where he shaves off his mustache was hard to watch. Shohei was a disgusting creep who overdid it with the cringy overdramatic singing. Yuudai was a spoiled brat and so was Ami. Tsubasa and Shion were wholesome but boring, I was happy they left the show. Seina was my favorite character in Next Door but on this season she was useless. Yui, Risako, and Maya were just toxic shit-stirrers. I only liked Mizuki, Mayu, and Aya. I felt so bad for Mayu
Shohei is one cool dude who is not afraid taking chances with Seina, too bad they did not end with a relationship. why does this scene looks like a japanese version of "The Voice" ?
The show is about relationships and strangers interacting according to their values and desires. The singer had recently announced that he was leaving the house and decided to put on a concert just for the house guests. The guy on the left no doubt is remembering good memories they had together while he sings which brings bitter sweet feelings. Such a unique experience to have a concert just for you with music that was made while living together, yet knowing that they will not all be living together again. You are happy to be living that moment but also saddened that it will likely not occur again. The woman on the right somewhat played with the singers emotions and the song may have been inspired by his emotions for her. The guy sitting next to her was a bit rough and a bit of a brat in my opinion. He was aware of the singers feelings for the girl yet ended up making out with her and laughing to the singer about it. Maybe he felt that he was above consequences coming from a rich family. In any case, as a viewer, hearing the heartfelt song and knowing the history of each member and that the cast is changing brings about an emotional response as well. Tough to tell from a short 3 minute clip here, but I am glad it was posted as it brings up my memories of me having a great time binge watching it and learning about Japanese culture, interactions, and dating styles
It’s 2024. And I just watched this series. This song is incredible!!!!!!!!! Shohei has class and a true artist.
