I bought exactly the same bike having watched your reviews/vids. Gotta say, I have been so impressed with it and have covered 300 off-road miles in the 6 weeks of ownership. Yep, I've smashed my guard on the same bike in black . Plastic welded it with a soldering iron but smashed it again rock hopping. Think I need one of these 👍
This is quite a common problem , I really don't know why the guard isn't made from a proper rubber rather than plastic. I have one of these guards ordered too.

Looking at your chain, it looks really bad and rusty, remember a clean bike is a faster bike and a bike that will last longer! So make sure you try to get a new chain, oil lube and clean your bike every once in a while so it lasts a long time!
Bikes really clean, clean it every other ride. Chain was oiler recently as well, trouble with washing it gets rusty then. As the shop said - less washing the better

This bike seems poorly made and untested. Not very good really for the money it costs
Its really good, aside from the bash guard on this model/price point.
