- Here is Brookes solo "Never Neverland" performed at DEA Nationals, in New York 2009.
She won 1st overall in the junior division.

I recently watched Brooke reacting to her solos and she mentioned how this one of her favs because she loved Tinkerbell when she was younger. You definitely can see her passion in this dance.

Comparing the genuine smile as she dances in this solo at 11 compared to a fake smile in a season 2 or 3 solo when she's 14-15, you can tell she used to love to dance. In season 1 when she was 13, you could tell she was beginning to lose her passion for dance but at the same time still enjoyed. I believe if she wasn't on dance moms, she would've continue to take classes at the studio because she would've been advance up to the senior level and would be learning harder choreography and maybe even be doing things other than acro. Sadly, I think Dance Moms and Abby, and dancing with kids years younger than her, ruined her love for dance.
She said she'd already lost passion by the time the show started. She said that she only stayed at the studio bc of the show.
I also think she was in pain most of the time
I think it is was because she had back pain and she is growing up so she wants to play with her friends more but she was at dance most of the time
abby was it really yelling at brooke it was just for the show

She was prob mad Brooke wasnt a little little kid that adimired her blindly and followed her every word. You know kids grow up and they start to have opinions and wants and hers may not have aligned with what Abby wanted all the time. Abby wanted a winner obcessed with danco but Brooke wanted others things too and maybe with how sharp Abby is Brooke started to get annoyed by her obcession with and showed it.
She did this to Maddie, she made Maddie crys asking why she did that with when the moms stayed at the parking lot and she, a fckn adult, gaslighted Maddie till the girl was miserable crying and feeling guilty of something she might not even have understand then. Different from Brooke Maddie really was into only dance, and with Abby all the time telling her she is her fav, she is her winner etc etc Maddie didnt want to let Abby down so she complied to everything.

@@ohrenata especially because of Maddie’s upbringing too. You can tell Melissa was very complacent and obedient and went with whatever Abby said, meanwhile Kelly was very opinionated allowing Brooke to come up with her own conclusions and opinions of things and people. Maddie however was a product of her upbringing and too did whatever Abby wanted and asked of her because that was all she knew.

@@TwistedApple this solo had more advanced back flexibility tricks; however, as she got older she got better at tumbling. This solo doesn’t have her layout step out, standing aerial with one leg, etc.
WOW I actually think Brooke was better than Maddie! She was the total package: acro, tumbling, legs, feet, leaps, turns. Stunning! This solo makes me both sad and happy to watch.

The fluidity in her tricks is beautiful to watch. In later seasons on the show, you can see her connections become more fluid too. It’s sad that her expressions lessened later on. She is definitely one of my favourite dancers
Awww she was 10/11 years old here. She was so good. There is no wonder she got 1st!
her other solo Swinging on a star I’m pretty sure won and this got second, swinging on a star was amazinggg

YOU'RE THE BEST OMG 😭😭😭 out of all the og aldc girls, I'm most curious about Brooke's before-show solos because I feel like she was at her best before dance moms, considering that she was an acrobat and was 13 when the show started, plus she seemed to start losing her passion by that time (she had great moments on dm of course, as she developed more control, but the way Abby talked about her felt like she was better as a kid)
Abby said in one episode Brooke used to be her best dancer, goes to show how harsh words can break passion.
This is why she is my favorite Dance Moms dancer of all time! I mean, look at her!!! She is so talented and she had so much potential to literally be the best dancer of the show. Keep in mind that Brooke was the “Maddie” before Maddie was the “Maddie.” Unfortunately as she got older, instead of being there to help and support her, Abby just decided to give up on her and move on to Maddie because Brooke wasn’t the newest item in the store anymore to Abby. It’s awful the way she got treated but luckily she is done with Abby and never has to deal with her again if she doesn’t want to. ❤

They do have photos on CZcams from a channel called (-Paige ALDC-) she has some but, Brooke doesn’t have her headpiece in this dance, in the pictures she has a headpiece.

I have mixed feelings. I’m so happy yet sad, you can tell she had SOOOO much passion and really loved tinkerbell and this solo. She mentioned in a vid this was one of her favorite solos. Abby really slept on Brooke in later seasons of the show and tore her down.

Hey! I realise this was posted a while back but would you be able to get more Brooke solos? I absolutely adore her and wish I could see her solos back when she still had her passion (like this one, pull of the moon and swinging on a star). For e.g. there was bigger isn't better and other ones that she loved. Please let me know!
I gotta to admit that when it was dance moms before, I mean where I was, MADDIE, BROOKE, PAIGE and the other girls, Brooke was my favorite cause her solos were never lacking in acrobatic tricks, I was even very fascinated when she did acrobatic solos but unfortunately she left Before the real season ended but I mean that Brooke was a good acrobat although many did not like tricks she used to contort her body in different ways that you said, this girl was born without bones but Brooke was really a goddess of acrobatic dance on stage, on the show and in competition, I am a super fan of her

the way her passion for dance faded. it makes me sad. she used to be so in love with the sport. then it was just there. dance moms was so toxic
This is why she used to be a favorite she could have danced circles around Maddie in my opinion and Brooke was happy in this solo but when she got older (14-15) it all went down hill because Abby was focused on Maddie and she lost hope a little

Poor Brooke, she should have moved up to the senior classes. Dont get me wrong she probs loved her friends but it probs felt a little easy or she didnt fit in

These “before the show” solos of Brooke are just incredible. I never could get into Brooke’s dancing on dance moms, she looked so miserable and burned out and it wasn’t fun to watch her. With this footage you could tell she once used to love it. But Abby Lees studio never gave her a break from this style of dancing and it harmed her and exhausted her. Acro should never be the only style a child performs. Very VERY few grown adults can actually make a professional career out of acro. With this type of thing you need to stop eventually and do other styles, but Instead of pushing her as a dancer, they gave up on her altogether when she couldn’t do it anymore. Pathetic. So much potential they didn’t tap into.

Brooke was a good acrobat. Just sadly she got burned out and Abby threw her way. ☹️ No 12 year old should be burnt out which can explain why her level of care changed once she started D/Ms and left Abby for good at 15.

You can really see her love for dance back then I think the show ruined her and of course abbey. Going from her favourite to a background girl is horribke and she was too talented for that. Even here you can see much more unique and challenging choreography it’s almost as if Abby wanted her to fail
