I swear when clowns and mimes go validing, they should be murderboned. Civs should not get involved when sec is present even if its failing miserably.
As the mime this round, I was trying to be an annoyance for the group of 4 "blasphemous fake clowns", I was not "validing". See how I use only disabler mode with the egun. I wasn't looking to kill anyone, just to harrass them hard. They killed me once after I pissed the heck outta them in the teleporter room with some shoving, and then I came back to bite them in the ass, throwing spears from time to time and shaking my fist at them, like an angry cartoon. It was a fun round. Back and forth between antags and crew is also part of the game, you don't need to always be a bystander and cross your arms just because you're not sec. Always letting antags do their gimmick without participating is as lame as always powergaming and validhunting.
Civis will always get involved unless ERT was there and they kos people that try to interject themselves

Hmmm. What you needed is a secret base in maint, and hear me out. Get a surgeon in addition to your squad. Get four monkies and humanize them, then get a brain transplant into the new human and stasis the old bodies. It's the only way your voice can change as a non-changeling that I'm aware of. Call everyone by code names or some shit and get rid of your mannerisms like capitalizing every word if you don't want to be identifiable. In case things go to hell the surgeon can take blood samples for pod cloning as a last resort. As long as the maint base isn't found its practically a perfect plan.
