  • In this video I explain how I created Pyramid Plunder in the video game.
    Pretty much it's a time-based minigame where you need to get to the top of the pyramid and fight the pharaoh within a 5-minute timer.
    The clock does not stop at all during the minigame, so time management skills are key to success.
    Ideally, you'd want to balance collecting extra loot form urns, but because the staircases are random, there are random mummies (and possibly snakes) that will attack you, there is a chance-factor that prevents you from following the same-exact route every time you play.
    I like the idea of adding an NPC that will track certain variables for you such as kill counts or loot counts. I think this gives an extra layer of enjoyment in the minigame because you can see how many times you play or try to reach certain KC's.
