I'm always astonished at the level of maturity of this kid. Her performances look and feel like that of a VERY seasoned dancer in her late 20's. So amazing. Then you see her complete opposite, silly, funny teenage self and it's such a difference. it's a little jarring, but I LOVE watching her dance. Such talent. wow

Those two girls are magical ! I can't even tell you enough how much you guys inspire me every single time ! Jojo you are one of the best choreographer and I absolutely love the fact that you always bring Kaycee into pieces like this bc I think she is the best choice to portray beautiful and powerful messages. Kaycee is one of the most beautiful inside and out girl, and the fact that she is growing in front of our eyes make this piece even more powerful ! This video literally moved me. It was amazing. Idk if anyone else felt like this, but it also brought me to realize that I feel like I’ve given up on my dreams. I dream to be a professional dancer one day, but I don’t have much training. Seeing Kaycee grow up to be what she is, makes me proud, because she is everything I aspire(d) to be, even now. I am supposed to be a junior in college but I am having a hard time with funds so I often have to drop in and out of college to make money and be able to support myself. Through everything, dance has been the answer. I have gone months without dancing and I am going through a major depression because of it. Like two months ago I finally got the chance to dance and I had to drop out of college again (which is my only source of training) because my family moved far away from my school and I had a very hard time commuting. I haven’t danced or performed in a very long time and everyday it’s a growing pain for me. Many times, I feel like my dream has sailed away and life has no purpose. I really don’t have many people I can express this to, so it feels good to get it off my chest. But Jojo, you really do inspire me, and when I see you dance, I feel there could be hope left for me. Thank you so much.
