    Thank you for the videos! I was wondering do you think that if I watch these videos and understand the concepts in them that I would be ready for the AP exam? I will be doing FRQ and Multiple choice practice as well

      Hi! These videos cover a lot of the curriculum required for the exam but not every detail. So they will help you review but are not entirely "all inclusive". I would recommend a study guide book to help such as the 5 Steps to a 5 book, the new one for this year is very good :). Hope that helps!

    love it! How will the new exam look like can u give us (me) an example question please?

    • @SciencePanda
      @SciencePanda  Před 4 lety +7

      Hi! I wish I could confidently give you an example but even the teachers do not know exactly what it will look like, especially because of the home-testing format. The question type are "design an investigation" and "Analyze an environmental problem and propose a solution" so I would focus on perfecting a few key skills: 1) identifying dependent and independent variables in an experiment, writing a hypothesis and identifying the control that should be used like when you do scientific method stuff and 2) having at least two solutions for environmental problems memorized or make a list (the test is technically open note) so for example, if you are dealing with soil depletion issues due to agriculture what could you do? If its erosion problems, use cover crops to protect top soil and add more nutrients, or use low till planting methods to protect the top soil from the start and so on (Biggest Little Farm has AWESOME examples of this, I think it's on HULU and worth watching!). I would go through your units 1-7 in your notes, find the problems you discussed in class and make a chart of problems, consequences (so you can describe or explain if asked in the FRQ ) and solutions. I hope that helps a little! Check out this site for my info on the new format of the test, scroll down to AP Enviro to see the FRQ types: apcoronavirusupdates.collegeboard.org/students/taking-ap-exams/ap-exam-schedule
