This is Why We Fly Pt.1 | Epic Missionary Adventures Ep. 33

Have you ever wondered what the roads are like to the places we fly to? Why do we fly instead of drive? This video will give you a close up view of the ruggedness of the roads. It takes Jasson nine hours to drive what takes him thirty minutes to fly. We had to close their airstrip, because it was becoming too rough and dangerous to land on. Jasson would love to open it up again to fly pastors, supplies, and medical emergencies, so he and a few friends take the long journey by land to check out the conditions of the airstrip.
We have been missionaries in Mexico for many years. We've been on some pretty Epic ADVENTURES, and we thought that it was about time to take you along on these adventures. Jasson flies a Cessna 206 into various mountain bush airstrips for medical evacuations or delivering supplies to the missionaries living there. But our ministry includes so much more than just bush flying. Follow along to see all the different adventures we experience.

It took us 11 hours to drive to El Manzano from Chihuahua. It was a one hour flight. We were so thankful to the UIM missionary pilots who served us. And I'm thankful for your service to our missionary friends that still serve in Mexico and your servants heart toward the people of Mexico.
