Who I am:
Hi! I’m Jeffrey and I run a resale business specializing in vintage and antique finds! Follow my journey as I post haul videos, vlogs, what’s selling videos and more on CZcams. You can also follow me on Instagram to catch more daily happenings! **One last thing -- I used affiliate links above! This means I’ll get a little cut on the back-end for referring you there!
It was free, you claimed it, you sold it and you made a profit. That is good honest business.
Yeah....good stuff! I love the aluminum tumblers. I have a scar on my chest because of one of those! Story is....I was about 8 years old in the early 1970's and I was chasing a cat and fell down a set of basement steps....tumbler in my hands! I don't remember it very well but the story comes up about once every 3 years at the Christmas dinner table! Good job flipping that green wash stand!
Love the peach S&P shakers. I have an idea on the plates that you might donate, start collecting them in a different patterns and rent them to people having weddings or parties. Or you can sell them all off in a lot to people planning their wedding or anniversary with the option that they return undamaged plates to get some of their ,money back. There is a need for different pretty dinner and desert plates for events. They make the party more interesting and guess just love seeing who got what plate. Having a shabby chic wedding is in fashion. The couple could let everyone take their plate home as a gift for attending their event. Just make sure the plates are intended for food usage. Also tea cups with saucer could be marketed in the same way since people do have coffee, tea and hot choc. All so vases can be rented out too or center pieces.
That sounds lovely, like a boutique tea room! That would be a great idea...for someone else, lol. I have no desire to be in the wedding industry!! Let alone the "rental" industry. I'd lend them for a Greek wedding and get a pile of shards back. I'm just kidding, lol. Thanks for watching!
Subscribed to you because of crazy lamp lady. Thanks jocelyn.
Wow Jeffrey - you hit the jackpot with that estate sale and made cash money to boot. The green cabinet is a washstand which was used in the bedroom to hold a wash bowl and pitcher set. Probably from the early 1900's. The aluminum tumblers are great. especially the set with the carrier. And unbelievable that the crock was $3.00. Really a super super estate sale. Does't happen very often. Will be waiting to see part two. David
I thought that stand looked like it should be something! I couldn't place it. Thanks for watching!
Awesome finds! I once sold a recliner for $75.00 that was at my mall that another vendor was selling for $10.00!!! It looked new! Didn't have to haul or even move it! Just retagged it! I also had a small kids chair in my cart at a thrift store and was thinking I wasn't going to get it and a lady offered me $10! So I sold something that wasn't even mine!! LOL Don't redonate the dishes. Put them in your booth. People love dishes in my mall, even a mish mash set. I remember Coast soap when I was a kid. It is nice to find older things in such nice condition! People back then took care of their things unlike nowadays! TFS!
I remember that story now (i think from the podcast)! Well, the odd part of what happened was I was selling a FREE piece of furniture in front of the owners husband! It's kind of like this; the owner of your $10 recliner stood there RIGHT AFTER you paid $10 for it and watched you sell it for $75 within 2 mins. I think I will plop those dishes in the booth, didn't really think of it. Thanks for watching!
What a baby face you were, Jeffery 🤱. 5 yrs ago. My goodness 💐 💐
This was so fun Jeffrey. What a haul!
Jeffery, Jeffery, Jeffery....best 4 hours spent! Jealous....awesome finds....the cabinet you made $50 off of????Bravo....Love the Aluminum tumblers and coasters...what a find....I bet the pink striped s&p are hazel atlas anyways....pringle glasses very cool...xo Michelle
I know! It was a spectacular day. Thanks for watching!
You get the big gold star for the day.......$50 for pulling off a sticker!! I love it :)
Lol. Yes! That is really the most I've ever sold something for while still at the sale. Let alone a free item. Thanks for watching!
Just discovered your channel and I’m loving it! I really only like to watch vintage/thrift hauls of kitschy/retro/whimsical/cute vintage items(for the purpose of reselling) and your channel hit the nail on the head! This is something I used to do on eBay when Etsy was mostly just craft stuff... and now trying to get back into and possibly open an Etsy store, anyway just really excited to have found your channel! You do an amazing job!
Etsy is so so many things! Thanks for watching!
The Number 6 Crock was fantastic Jeffery you did so good in this haul 🦋
Reminds me of a time at GW that I saw and wanted a small cabinet like this and walked to the front to reserve it . The cashier said just pull the ticket off and when you cash out you can pick it up in the back . Making my way back to the furniture the piece was gone(in like 2 minutes !) Someone else pulled the ticket and another employee already brought it to the back for pickup. Just shows you can't snooze or hesitate ! ! ! SIT ON THE THING IF YA HAVE TO TO MAKE IT YOURS 😋 Love your channel 💖Gonna watch Ann's channel now another favorite ✌
Thank you Jeffery, fun video ❤
you are the second person I know who go to get something and sales it before actually purchasing it, even though your was free. Great Job👏👏👏
Awesome finds. The Orange lamp is so cute. Back in the day we called them "high intensity lamps." Might be a good tag if you sell it online.
The beaded coin purse is actually a cigarette case!
Lol, yes, I got a little chuckle out of that. So young...😃😀👍
I used those when I smoked. They are very hard to find so I think you could get a good price for it if you list it as a lady's cigarette case.
You could fit a pack of 120s in there! Someone over 50 is going to get a huge kick out of having that :)
Glasses case too...
You do such a great job ! Love your videos
I have been to so many estate sales this year. I have not seen one aluminum tumbler! Jackpot :D
Fun hearing your story on the green cabinet, , if all sales could be that easy
I know! It would be nice but maybe not as fun, right? Thanks for watching!
So fun. Love the colors on aluminum tumbler
I absolutely love all your finds. I know you have to search & look hard to find some unique items. A lot of this was reminding me of my childhood. You have great taste in the items you pick. I really enjoyed this haul & look forward to part 2. God Bless you.
Oh! The treasures! The rotary phone! Memories of the day our first phone was installed! My Mom had bowling pin S & P shakers. Great video!
Ooo fun haul💙✨. Luv the aluminumumum. Its so easy to spend several hours in sales like that. Its like therapy too
4 - 26 - 2024 , News !!
Jeffery & Barb's LIVE SALES are Fridays at Noon. Sales are on This Channel
Wow, great haul.
OH MY GOSH!!!!! What an amazing haul!!! The items you found were great, and many of them difficult to find "in the wild" these days.Thank you for sharing. It is so fun to stumble across a family-run estate sale where they don't know (or care?) about the monetary value of the items they need to move. I will look for your "part 2" video but notice that this one is over 4 years old so you may not be doing this any more??
Great stuff! The long white “coin purse” is actually a case for eyeglasses - my Mom had one similar. The cast luminous dish is really cool - good find. The crock is phenomenal - love salt glaze stoneware.
Awesome, awesome haul! It made me very nostalgic.
Fantastic haul and great prices!!!☺ looking foward to seeing the next haul! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
You stole that crock, wow, my parents used them for pickles and sauerkraut. Love it. Also love the condiment jars. Rotary phone wow.👍👍all good finds
Thanks for the memories! Awesome finds!
Love the cat planter marked Japan and the Glasbake refrigerator containers. With the smaller aluminum two cup pot mine came with the innards to percolate two cups of coffee.
That was an awesome haul! So many cool things! Can't wait to see the rest!
Oh boy, I know! I was buzzing around that place. Thanks for watching!
Holy cow! Fantastic haul and I cannot wait to see the holiday items! I have been to a handful of sales like that, where the house was packed with good vintage stuff and the prices were super cheap, its the best for sure! You will make great money on that stuff!
YES! Was a very blissful morning for me! Thanks for watching!
OMG!! You got alot of treasures for sure. Love the pineapple s&p... So pretty I would use it on my vanity filled with powder. 25 cent jackpot. I would not of been able to stop buying!! Serious.
It was hard to leave- I just didn't want it to end lol. Thanks for watching!
The round aluminum 'steamer' was called a 'bun warmer', used to reheat buns and rolls and sometimes brought to the table for dinner. You could use steam heat or, close the vents on the lid for dry heating.
Amazing things for the price
Wow!!! great haul
What a fantastic haul at fantastic prices. What a way to start of the estate/yard sale season!
I know! Thanks for watching Teresa!
The beaded 'coin purse' is actually a cigerette case for 120 length smokes, I use to have one. When I bought my cottage from an older couple in their 80's I have 2 of those percolates they left in the cabinet, good for making coffee on a campfire. I can't believe the price on that crock, we sold one at mom's estate sale for $50.00 I plan going to a couple of estate sales next month, I seen online at one a sewing machine I want, even though I have two that I use. I think that ash tray is a 'candy dish'. Heck yeah on that green cabinet, many ppl would've taken that & painted it shabby chic, and resold it for big bucks, you hit the jack pot on that one!
Hi. I enjoyed seeing your finds. You got a lot of items and at such good prices! I would have thought that the aluminum steamer was a bun warmer? My family collects them and provides them to our young family members as they get houses of their own. Kind of a joke. : ) I had to wash percolators a lot as a kid, and it appears that the big one is complete. I also think that the long beaded coin purse is a sunglass or eye glasses case. I remember seeing people using them that way in the 1970's-1980's. That's a great deal on the crock. Good luck shopping this week!
Yes, I call everything a coin purse it seems like. Some even said it could hold cigarettes. The crock was a huge deal! Thanks for watching!
It is an eye glass case or some people put their cigarettes and lighter in those purses
Marvelous explanations 💐
Love all these finds!! 💗
Loved this
Jeffrey You have really GOOD taste and a GOOD eye for quality items.
You inspire me. I am considering being a full time seller once I come close to retirement. Been a dental assistant for 20+ yrs and would LOVE to thrift full time for profit. I have an Etsy store now but finding time to run it with working full time is difficult. Please keep the videos coming. I loved the tour of your Etsy room! Thanks again for sharing and congrats on your success! I’d love to do what your doing so keep the videos coming!
So glad you enjoy the videos! It is very nice not being tied down to a 9-5, especially since some of the best deals happen Monday-Friday. Thanks for watching!
Amazing finds. I would have loved to see everything in that home.
What a fantastic haul! Especially what you got at the estate sale. What a profitable day that was! :)
Yes it was! Thanks for watching!
My besty went traveling out west and brought cactus and black and white cows salt and pepper shaker back. I like them taters you probaly sold them by now.
Wow! You hit the jackpot!
!! So Happy! Thanks for watching Pam!
That beaded "coin purse" is a cigarette case.
I dream of estate sales like these!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
wow! you got some killer deals. sure wish i could find estate sales like that here- estates sales in my area are usually over priced. congrats on your finds! i just found your channel and enjoy your videos!!
The estate sales to look out for are the family run sales. They usually will post in the local paper and you can tell by how its written USUALLY. Plus I get to the estate sales on opening day and arrive up to an hour early to get to be the first or second in the house. Thanks for watching!
Love those old glasses they keep your drinks very cold
That first set of metal glasses to sell them for $49 you will need to spray paint the glass carrier other wise that's kinda expensive, especially with the ones that have wear on the bottom
Sandy fro. Victoria
That was such a great haul. Loved everything
Thanks for watching, Linda!
I love the aluminum cups.
WOW! Jeffrey awesome haul !!!!
Thanks Chiari!
What Fabulous Finds! Super! Have a good week.
Thanks Kim!
Just wanted to add... If you want to sell the owl wind chime... Cover the 25¢ with a new sticker price. And those dishes are beautiful too, someone will gladly buy those. You are an inspiration, what with your entrepreneur's spirit! So glad I found your channel today.
Well honey you got a new subscriber today!! You are cute as a button and that was a FANTASTIC HAUL!!! Where do you live? I'm in Tuscaloosa, Al and we never have estate sales that good. LOL
Thanks for subscribing! I live in a small town (more in the country) near St. Louis!
Terrific
I am happy for you with this haul, but gee whiz, why can't I find stuff like this!! LOL. thanks for posting.
Thanks Bailey!
Just found your site. Fascinating. FYI the plastic mustard and ketchup squeeze bottles still sell at some Dollar Stores with same designs. They're wonderful at picnics. As for the potato salt and pepper shakers...put them by the butter dishes and baked potato dishes. Bet they will sell. Anyway terrific finds from my childhood. Was great to see some of them again.
Thanks for watching!
I love everything you got!! Iam bum it’s dry season over here in Arizona snow birds (seasonal travelers) emptying the thrift store and actions prices get out of control it’s hard to find good stuff and I can’t wait for them to go 👏🏻🙄😓👵🏻👴🏻
Well, We are JUST warming up temperature-wise so the local sales are picking back up sporadically. I know what you mean with scarce thrifts though. Thanks for watching!
Wow, cool sale and you cannot beat those prices! I sold a #3 crock for $65 a few weeks ago, but I did Not get it for $3 -- yay for you! I'm going to what the seller says is a real good kitsch sale this weekend but I can guarantee you the prices will be tons higher than at your sale (am in L.A. area). Thanks for vid :)
Oh wow! I'm sure it will be plenty expensive over that direction! Thanks for watching!
Great video!
What a sale! Wow!
Or eye glass case.
The soap will last longer since it may have gotten a little harder.... I read somewhere to take the wrappers of the soap so it does out and will last liner besides making the linen closet smell nice
Wow! You got great stuff!
Thanks for watching!
Jeffrey, i have a set of the Bascal aluminum cups from my grandmother which I loved as a kid and treasure now.. the story my grandma told me about the cups is that she bought them in the grocery store with sour cream in them. So that’s interesting, just thought I’d pass that information on to you.
Wow! Never knew that they were acquired in that way! But it just about seems every glass or cup was bought with food in it! Thanks for watching!
Great Haul!!! 😎
Thanks for watching!
Do enjoy watching your video.
What? Wait...WHAT? You REALLY REALLY SCORED BIG TIME!!!! THAT CROCK! Yowza! Unbelievable!!
I know! This sort of thing doesn't happen often and it's been so long since a decent estate sale! Thanks for watching!
That flowered c purse the long one that’s a cigarette case for the lighter my mom smoked it’s 1960 s
Nice quick sale. $50.
The first beaded purse you showed is to put glasses in.
That seashell is worth more than a couple dollars!
nice haul love the pineapple
Yes! I do too! Thanks for watching!
I think it is actually an eyeglass case, I have one just like it.
great job
Wonderful haul sounds like a great estate sale we do not have them in Australia
I'm surprised! I know that (the whole of Australia) tends to auction off the houses instead of listing them with an agent for sale. How about the contents inside? Auctions only? Thanks for watching!
No that is what the TV shows make you think. Houses prices here are really high. Only the really big houses or in affluent close to the city suburbs go for Auction. Most houses are listed for private sale with agents.. People have garage sales but not a lot. Lots sell on Gumtree or just have a local council pick up and leave it out the front of their houses when they move. But really a lot take most of the items with them. If a family member moves into a retirement home they downsize and lot of it ends up at the thrift stores which is where I find it all.
On the cacti s & p, the sticker probably said Saguaro. That's the name of the cacti.
keep a few things for your bar downstairs
How did you find such a cool estate sale!? I look on Craigslist every so often and nothing even comes up. I would die if I found those salt and pepper shakers, I’ve been wanting to start collecting them!
Well this was an anomaly and doesn't happen very often. I find most estate sales in the paper. I love buying salt and pepper shakers and have over 60 in my Etsy shop! Thanks for watching!
Do you collect the perfect car/ other vehicle miniatures? They're " out of sight" around here!( Riverside Co.)
Ya think( clothes) KonMari has made a dent in the thrift biz? Hardly any toys ! Lots of clothing!( Goodwill.
Also sell the dishes in your booth...THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL...TRY SELLING THEM FOR A FEW $S A PIECE AND THEY WILL BE GONE IN NO TIME AND HELP PAY YOUR BOOTH RENT
I ended up doing that after another commented the same. They sold decently quick. Learned something there! Thanks for watching!
Really cool, awesome finds!!!! Where are you from ?
In a small town near St. Louis, MO on the Illinois side!
Interesting story on your green cabinet. Worked out well for you but could have been some drama involved if the man had not been so nice. When I find an item like that I go ahead and load it immediately because I don't like drama.
The item that you called a change purse would be handier as an eyeglass case, Don't you think?
What's your etsy store name, please....I love the metal cups, I want to buy them! Wonderful haul...as always!
You can get to it here: RealNiftyVintage.com. I hope to have the tumblers on by Thursday! Thanks for watching!
melissa staten
The small beaded "clutch" as you referred to it as,is actually a sunglass case or cigarette case. Not trying to be rude, just wanted you to know.
Yes, I pulled that term out of air instead of looking it up ahead of time. Thanks for watching!
I miss estate sales. We don't have any out where I am.
That is crap. I find some of my best deals in them. Thanks for watching!
Amazingitems. That crock will make you money.
My favorite is the little cat. Are you selling it?
Look at 2brokeguys video. They have the sugar shaker pattern on their video. Might be canada or france.
I would have paid more for the cactus in unopened package
what year range does the JAPAN marking indicate?
That's an interesting question without an exact answer.. it seems to cut off around the early '70s. By the 1970s we started importing drastically more from Taiwan, Korea and eventually China. I should also say that if it says Japan, the EARLIEST date it could be is 1891 due to a law passed that states that all imported items must have country of origin stamped on them.
All I can say is "Wow!" You are so lucky with these funds. I find nothing here.
