    we are linkeed with all these deals being close to completion, now we need to see one or two get over the line then I'll start to believe in the new regime

    No new bids for branthwaite please, he's not worth anymore than £45m. Please don't pay stupid money

    Flex we are Manchester United, we don't beg anyone to come play for us they have to want to if l not we won't get the best out of them simple as that.

    walk away, we've already bid too much. He's half the player De Ligt and Yoro are. There's lots of CB options in this market.

    To get Yoro you need to plant the seed of doubt. Theres no guarantee RM will still be in for him next season or MU for that matter. The bids that have been put in speak for themselves.

  • @flxxgang1
    @flxxgang1 Před 17 dny +2

    I can't believe we going in for a 3rd Bid for him, we'll prolly end up paying 60M upfront, which is crazy to think of, he's an OK defender don't get the hype

  • @memonm786
    @memonm786 Před 18 dny +4

    Radcliffe wants more English players in this team hence we’re continuing to pursue Branthwaite. I think we should have a good nucleus of English players so not against it, but we should not pay anymore than 55m.

    • @skidan4real
      @skidan4real Před 18 dny +2

      Exactly, I was about to write something similar, this is not talked about enough. Ineos definitely want at least 1 English signing, and if they don't agree a fee with Everton, they'll probably move onto Mark Guehi.

    I thought my cut off would be 50 with Branthwaite but my cut off is now 50 up front with ten million in add ons (so rising to 60 in total, which would still be a lot less than the 80, 75, 70, that we have been quoted) that’s me anyway.

    I would like to get Branthwaite, but a third bid should be a final bid. If we have bid £45m plus £5m, then a final bid should not be above £55m plus £5m. They refuse? Fine, move onto other targets

  • @joefleming-mulford9290

    We didn’t win the group in 98 that’s why we played Argentina, not bad luck. We didn’t win the group in 2002 either otherwise we would have had Senegal (who back then were not what they are now) in the last 16 and Turkey in the quarter finals, instead of Brazil. In Euro 2004 if we had have won the group we would have had Greece in the quarter finals, Czech Republic in the semis and then Portugal in the final, doesn’t get any easier than that, our fault. And in 2006 apart from Ukraine Portugal were the easiest team we could have played otherwise we would have had one of: Italy, France, Brazil, Argentina, or Germany, so Gareth Southgate has completely made his own luck in that regard, as well as winning 2 penalty shoot outs which we only one 1 of in 96 and lost all the others. What do you say to that Owen? 👀

    The England team and manager deserve more credit. I don’t care who they’ve beaten they’ve earnt it. “Easy group” they earned that seeding through recent past performance. “Easy draw” they earnt that by topping their group. “Easy quarter final” they beat the team who knocked out the defending champions. “Only won on penalties” yeah like we used to only lose on penalties. Most nations (ok not the very best ones) would give their right arm to have the success we have had in tournaments in recent years, and yes I do count it as success without winning anything, as we used to be the laughing stock of the world. Also major tournaments are nothing like anything else in football, both in terms of pressure and format. “Why don’t players play for England like at their clubs” because playing for your clubs you’ve got 38 games to get it right, at a major tournament it is a maximum of 7 games if you make it all the way to the final. Even in the champions league, even leaving out the group stage, you have two legged affairs with the exception of the final to get it right. And finally in the club game, certainly in England you have at least four (everywhere else at least 3) chances to win something every season, as opposed to one chance to win something every 2 years, of course people play with more freedom and expression under those circumstances. So I for one am a proud Englishman. And congratulations to Gareth Southgate and all the players and all his staff as I think they are doing fantastic.

    I think platforms have misjudged transfer movement...yes approaches have been made,but this new regime are "known quantity "to transfer markets. It's the players you don't know about that turn up....cunning group.

    Foolishness if United are going to 50 million + 10 in addons (in the Fabrizio voice).
    50 million including addons (in the Fabrizio voice) was already paying more than required. Everton can stick to their selling price. It will be fun watching Everton in the relegation fight.
