I've had this exact scenario happen to me against English early feudal aggression where I take one bad early fight and I can't recover for the rest of the game. It's rough and hard to judge properly under pressure

I think under pressure people "tilt" and it seems like "that one fight" lead to loosing the game. In reality if you keep a cool head (easier said than done for sure) you usally can recover to some extent and even turn the game eventually. That being said on "absolute pro level" in every RTS or any competition both have to perform 100% and a slightes slip up will lead to a loss that doesn't mean its the games fault just on the top tier every move counts like in olympic sprint every millisecond counts that doesn't mean that sprinting is imbalanced.
Really happy to see these again drongo, FFA isn't as appealing to me.

this game really shows how much important timing is
and how sometimes a small thing can win or lose you a game. If he had build one or 2 towers instead of the stables it would probably be an easy hold.

i agree, 1v1s are way more interesting to watch. i can actually learn something from them. FFAs are just too hectic and theres just too much to keep track of thats its really just a big mess
1:43 "One of the things the Abbasid love to do is go into their unique units, including the Camel Archer." That's one of the best jokes you've told in recent memory. Camel archers in Feudal is situational and risky given how expensive they are.
