the sequence of shinji kaminaga got grab by ultraman for the rise is the most out of the box idea and is truly amazing, it's weird how not so many people talk about it.
My favorite is still within Gaia and Cosmos because of their literal polar opposite landings😂 Gaia’s landing is rough (also Agul did that too) Meanwhile Cosmos is more on soft landing.
My favorite thing about it is the actual props they had to make for the sequences. I'd love to see a museum display of all of them in glass tubes under spotlights or something, a masterclass in perspective's role in special effects.
I love that the fusion Rises have interesting details that represent the Ultras used in the fusions, for example with Ultraman Orb Thunder Breaster in a frame shows the cage where Belial was.

I think Ultraman rise/form change remakes for everyone before max is super cool too. The recent new form change sequences for cosmos are so goddamn pretty! Dyna, my childhood hero, also got some much needed remakes for his classic form changes, so nostalgic to look at!
What make rise so great is that it stay the same(cgi debatble) over the past 55 years plus. Use transformation device change to ultra than grow. It use the same formila and it never gets old.
The Ultra Rises are very cool, however, the recent finale transformations that the new generation heroes started are the good shit. Those finale transformations are set in real time, like with Geed, dude walks as he transforms and grows into his Ultraman form -- it's great!
