- Today I take you on a tour of my happy place and craft room. I truly am sorry for the terrible lighting but it was a gloomy, snowy day today. I hope you enjoy it and I thank you all so much for watching and subscribing.

You're so blessed to have such a large place to play and decompress. Unfortunately, where I live we don't have basements. We live in America on the gulf coast of Texas. I think our subdivision is 23' above sea-level. It varies all over. We're the 2nd largest port in America hence no basements. Lol. Therefore, I'm so jealous.
Oh, I pray y'all weren't affected by the fires here recently in your country!Believe it or not, light smoke made it all the way down here.

Hi Denise, thank you for your kind words, I feel very blessed to have such an amazing work area. If I may be honest whether we have a basement or a small room or maybe even just the kitchen table the creativity and love for what we create comes from inside. You are very right though sometimes it’s just nice to escape the noise and come to a quiet happy place.
Thank you for your concern, thankfully I live in Ontario, Canada where we have not been affected by the wild fires. The smoke in the air has been bad but I guess I have no reason to complain as I have a home still.

I had a whole room of the Michaels cubes in my scrap room. I loved all the divided drawers. They were full. I also ad the plastic containers full off 12x12 paper pads. I lost everything when our basement flooded. Nothing survived. Lost 4 expensive sewing machine too. We didn’t have insurance because we were living with our son. We have moved and I now have collected and replaced some of the stuff.
HI Sylvia, I am so sorry that you lost so much because of the flooding in the basement. That is always a concern with me too as I live in the country and we have sub pumps and septic tank. I know how long it takes to have everything the way you want it, I couldn't imagine it all gone. I really am sorry about that. Thank you for sharing that with me and hope you are doing well. Love your space. Those baskets with hooks could be baskets that go on walkers, not sure, but I have seen some on walkers! Anyway everything looks so nice and organized! Thanks for sharing your space.

oh wow...I don't know where to begin! Girl, your craft room is the most awesome EVER! I am so coveting everything! Before I forget, I was so touched that you have the book and charm that I made for you, displayed...and you are so kind to mention me...wow. O.K., now back to your crafty cave...LOL. I think the way you have organized everything is so cute and clever. The furniture and shelves all really work well together, in both looks and practicality. I luv your desk, and how you centered it in the middle of the room. You have so much space...and wood floors! Shoot...that room would also be used for dancing too, if it were mine! Luv the big cozy chair and big screen TV...omg...I am so jelly! You must have a really cool house! You have an extraordinary craft room, my friend, and you have done an amazing job designing it too. Hi my sweet friend, thank you so much for all of the beautiful things you've said. The book and charm are two of my very favourite things and I often go through the book and look at that charm every time I am in my room. It reminds me of friendship and creativity and brings me inspiration, so thank you you for all of those things. Who says I don't dance in there LOL. Its my dance studio and my roller skating room too!! LOL It took a longtime to get things the way I wanted them and I am very fortunate that we generally don't use our basement and I could take over the best room down there! My husband is amazing and bought all of the cabinets for me to sort and organize, I am blessed. This is my first time watching you and I just wanted to say I love all the white in your craft room and the clear containers.
Most of my stuff doesn’t have a lid. And a lot is in baskets from dollar tree. But I also recycle things like boxes and cans.

The basket is actually made for the front of a walker poeple use to hold all the item . I had one for my grandmother. Good find

Wow! I'm almost turning green with envy down here, but not really. You are so blessed to have such a spacious area for crafting. You have it so well and beautifully organized. I agree that we tend not to use things that we don't see, the clear containers are a good choice and help you to see at a glance things you might otherwise forget you have. That's my biggest issue, I have loads of supplies but my limited space causes me to tuck things away, then I forget I have them, lol. Thank you for sharing your lovely space, I hope you are soon able to get back to using it more often. Any news on your hand? I do so hope and pray that you'll get relief very soon. I am my happiest when in the serenity of my room and I think any one of us feel that way about the place that helps the creativity flow. Absolutely stunning craftroom! Those wire baskets are baskets for bikes they hook on the handle bars and you can take it off if you are shopping that's why you have a handle.. Love your room. By the way I'm a new subbie and I'm also from Canada.

I live in beautiful British Columbia. Salmon Arm to be exact. A friend of mine has that exact basket on her bike .

That basket is for a bicycle, I have one on my beach cruiser, the hooks fit onto the handlebars😊

Yes - glue them down. Also where did you get the drawer dividers for doilies, et al - in the Michaels cubby drawers? Love your Princess auto storage unit with the tilt out bins - very smart repurposing idea! PS. the lighting was fine. What are your room dimensions? tfs
Those dividers are probably from Michaels. Years ago I bought some of the Michaels cube storage and they came with the unit. I really miss that Michaels don't carry the variety if cube units that they used to. When they did have them, I went nuts and bought almost every style they carried. I SO glad I did, LOL!
Hi, The dividers came in that particular set of units, princess auto often has sales on units like this and is a great way to organize stuff. My room is about 20 x 20, it is fairly large and I am very fortunate to have that space to myself. Thank you for watching. Where in Canada are you from?
The baskets come off of old walkers, so that you had someplace to put your purse or purchases.
