And I understand Hindi as well...Sir I totally agree with your thoughts.it's true that We've produced some World class players over the years but according to my point of view the problem with our younger players is that they don't have the term called "Discipline". You might be the most talented player in the country but if you're not disciplined you'll not succeed at the highest level. Yes we have the problems with the cricket board yes we have arguments....but those 11-15 players are the representatives of our county. They have to play with the pride by keeping all the bullshit aside. that is not happening practically. I think our cricket culture is missing. We've used to play tough Cricket with India & Australia (Best 02 teams according to me) Sometimes we won & sometimes we've failed. But now we've let down our standards. If you analyse closely just check how many Qualifying matches we've played during last 4-5 years. Now to be honest I believe that our team is not up to the world standards Like india,Aus,Eng etc...

The amount of talent produced by Srilanka on the cricket field is truly a phenomenal achievement, that too in a very short period of time after becoming a full ICC member. From 1995 to 2015 Srilanka had world class players , match winners 🏆. Sangakkara and Aravinda De Silva were probably the best batsmen ever produced by Srilankan Cricket.

Kusal Mendis have a huge favouration. Even after consecutive failures, he still in the team. SLC try to destroy players who will be threat for Kusal Mendis. Most of players are money minded. They don't play for country, only play for money. Players discipline is also decreased. They don't know how to respect for former senior players. In Sri Lanka, there are 25 districts. But SLC is selecting players only from Colombo, Kandy and Galle districts. Racism, Religionism are also there. If any player, wants to get a place in the team, they should convert their religion into Born-again christian. Bhanuka Rajapaksa converted his religion to Born-again christian from his original religion Buddhism to get a place in the team. Tamil, Muslim does not have any chance to play cricket in Sri Lanka.
Bro you are mistaken, the condition in which sl cricket is as of now, kusal Mendis is one of their best players rn, he literally smokes bowlers when he gets going, I think the most protected player is dhananjay de Silva I've never seen him perform much but he still always gets into the team because he is an all rounder, I would have said kusal Perera as well but that guy has shown promise in the recent t20i series against India, and not to forget he has the best test innings to his name

I agree with his saying about if the board good players will be good. I think main problem with Sri Lanka corrupted politicians then corrupted cricket board same people control it for long time and also even they said politics not involved it's already politics involved and money start to come and all the members in the board got corrupted and also players got corrupted. If Sri Lanka cricket want be good again we need to replace the current cricket board with new faces otherwise we never gonna see any progress or better cricket in Sri Lanka again. Sri Lankan cricket will be gone soon . And in the future any small team will beat Sri Lanka easily. As Sri Lankan and cricket fans I dnt like anymore to watch my country playing cause it waste of our money and time.
India cannot produce fast bowler all-rounder...all wants to play opening slots...we need hard hitter along the ground player

Cricket has become a propaganda tool in Bangladesh. Hence, hard earned money is being spent on expensive bandages rather than investing in building a solid foundation.
I'll give you an example, bangladesh has only one domestic t20 competition which is BPL. BPL itself is a below par good for nothing tournament that can neither create new players nor help elevate the existing ones. Its not even entertaining at the very least.
The main reason for not having another t20 tournament and age level domestic tournaments is that BCB doesnt have access to enough grounds. However, using this as an excuse they are building a Modern stadium worth BDT 900 crore (INR 638 crore) in Dhaka, a city which already has two international stadiums. The stadium is designed as a boat which is the symbol of the leading political party. And this is not being financed by the government but by the cricket board itself.
This amount of money could've been used to build atleast 10-15 new grounds across the country which would have been ideal for domestic cricket but NO.
Furthermore, it doesnt have any programs to develop local coaches, Tamim Iqbal in a recent interview asked the host to name five domestic batting coaches and the host of the interview had no response. 24 years as a test nation, world cups have come and gone, embarrassment after embarrassment, yet BDT 900 crore for a single stadium can be managed but not for funding such much needed programs.
Wasim Sir was spot on when he said if the board is working right than quality players will be found.
