What I have learnt from this video is just to be grateful and not be envious of anything. I know how some of us Africans ache to have your texture of hair and know nothing about the struggle of maintaining it.
The old saying is true, "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." It is always easy to want something that someone else has, but we have no idea the struggles that come with it. I also have hair like hers, and it is silky and shiny... perfect right? Yea sure.... as long as you never want to make it keep any curl, or stay up. Pinning my hair up is like pinning water, and I'm really not kidding. The silkiness just slips and slides right back out.. even with gel and pomade!!! And with fine hair, ANY oil on the scalp makes the hair fall very very flat. I wash my hair every other day to keep it very clean so it has just a little bit of volume and bounce. We all have to learn to love what we have.
Most genuine and respectful comment, I’ve ever read . 😊
Ok maybe you don't have easy hair, but black people (usually) have such fabulous teeth! I'm so so jealous for the teeth
Julia Edi I think that is wonderful that you admit your feelings, you are honest woman and that’s worth a lot.
Julia Edi same😂😂. I’m not african american but i have thick Dark and wavy hair and i often get annoyed because if i don’t have time to style my hair in the morning (like i run late for school) i looks like a broom. Also if i don’t use conditioner and argan oil it’s dry and Even so it’s kinda dry
What I adore mostly, is your honesty.

agreed!
Your extensions look so natural!
B C omg yes they do!
B C yes they do. It’s around the back of the head though that the signs of extensions usually show, unless you wear it pulled around your front
Fine hair girls reunite lol. I have red and fine so hard to get good extensions. I felt not alone when I saw you talking about it. 💚
Monse Ferrón me too! Good luck girl :)
When you have wavy Curly hair, but it is fine. You literally want to shave it all off.
Green Grass I shaved mine twice 😂
OH NO IF THIS ISN'T THE MOST RELATABLE THING EVER 😂😭😭😭😳
I have used the same products 1 day and it looks ok another day and it looks like crap. I cannot understand my fine wavy crazy hair
@@betsybrady8520 Believe me I feel you on this, it's soooo frustrating.
My mom has that and I am jealous. When you have curly hair people understand that it doesn’t cooperate. People just assume I don’t try with my hair until they try to deal with my hair. I legit had a friend give up on braiding my hair because pieces kept falling out and she told me after that she would never judge me again.
*Oliplex with your color
*Satin pillowcases
*sleep with foam rollers
*put oil on ends before shampooing
*rice milk hair treatment
william mathison what’s rice milk hair treatment? Is it a products you buy? Or treatment you get done?
RP P You make it yourself. You can find a bunch of CZcams videos on it
omg, thanks
I think you mean rice water
oliplex or olaplex? i used olaplex its a very great product.
Girl I feel you I have that typically super baby fine Scandinavian hair. I remember one time my Asian friend (she had super thick coarse straight shiny hair) was braiding my hair and she got so aggravated and she was pulling and I told her to stop cause I could HEAR my hair snapping. She told me my hair was too tangly and too thin and I was HURT. And the best part is that people tell you, “use coconut oil....” is that a JOKE?! Nothing is gonna fix these genes honey 😂😂😂
I had tape-ins and unfortunately it made me lose more hair. And I had to BLOW DRY it everyday cause again just like you my scalp was nasty greasy (worse for me cause I’m a natural blond and blond roots get dirty SO FAST)
This past year I have def had a hair makeover!! Here’s some tips for the modern gal:
1. Go to the salon and get a BLUNT straight across cut. Girl I can’t tell you how many times these stylists cut layers in my hair. All layers do is thin out the hair and they take 10 years to grow out. Get all one even length!
2. Instead of blow drying your hair from start to finish, get outta the shower, get dressed, do makeup, then blow dry. You’ll still get a glossy voluminous blow out but less heat.
3. I have some HOLY GRAIL products that literally have changed my hair game:
- batiste dry shampoo (actually absorbs oil)
- aveda thickening tonic (the best hair product, literally makes each strand of hair feel thicker)
- olaplex!! (Helps split ends!!)
Sorrry this is super super long but I’m PASSIONATE about this topic!! No one ever talks about it cause most girls don’t have this thin of hair. And everyone takes their hair for granted lol . Good luck with your hair ❤️❤️❤️
I feel you someone cut a bunch of layers in my hair too :( . In the last few years I've been cutting them myself because I don't trust any hairdresser anymore.
I have the same with all the "coconut oil"advices :)
And when you see a 12 minute video titled "how to fix all your hair problems and grow thick healthy long hair" and all it says is "don't use heat and it will be fine" that is just a lie. I have not used any heat on my hair for nearly two years now (I am growing it, but I don't really have patience any more) and it's not much better.
Sára Kuzsner im sorry to hear that! I found a hairdresser that also has thin hair herself and she really understands the struggle and knows how to cut my hair. Sing my hair is so thin in the front, she layers and angles it perfectly around my face. I would suggest finding someone who has the same kinda hair. Some girl with super thick nice hair just won’t know. Best of luck with your hair journey!! I’ve also found that expanding time between washes has improved the health of my hair. 💕
You should try ayurvedic powders, it might help. I'm black and I made an oil out of it that I used for 1 month and my afro doubled in size
@@unbothereddee6518 Sad to say oil is the enemy of thin, fine hair. It weighs it down and makes it look even thinner. I have thin, fine wavy hair that gets crazy in humid weather. I keep it one length, wash it every morning and hope for the best. I do get Keratin treatments in the summer to keep away the frizz.
@@unbothereddee6518 could you please elaborate... what powder....thnx
she's like the beautiful, wise, older sister u wish u always had
As a black girl with the opposite texture hair, l found this video very interesting and even a little relatable.
A tip from a curly girl: if your hair won’t grow past your shoulders, get it off your shoulders. Wear more pony tails and buns more often. That way it won’t rub on your clothes too much which causes friction and ultimately breakage.
pony tails and buns actually cause more split ends and breakage etc ,
especially for straight hair.
@@behwah not it you do it the proper way (not too tight). It protects the ends. Try it out
@@behwah i get more splits with my hair down.
Your Highness bruh i’m a professional hair stylist . i think i know LMAO
i meant in some cases it can
Good advice, thank you! ;) Cinnamon buns are known for protecting the ends. Just keep in mind that it shouldn't be so tight.
Also: the idea of hair extensions being taboo is about as ridiculous as us not wanting to talk about girls wearing makeup. It’s just a part of being a woman🤷🏾♀️ folks don’t ever want us girls to enjoy things🤦🏾♀️
Ava Williams I see our hair as another accessory if you want to wear extensions etc. why not?
Ava Williams that’s not your hair...,
Me😂 girl I got the receipt. That makes it mine 💗😂
I love Anna's comment section, minimal negativity, no one is hating, we all share our worries and insecurities and bringing each other's up and complimenting each other about our strength and weaknesses, that's what elegant ladies do.
I just want to say, I'm so glad I found your channel. The things you talk about in terms of etiquette, investing in ourselves (physical shape, skincare, etc), being capable but not obnoxiously independent, embracing femininity, etc, are all values my parents taught me, but in modern society today it's often misunderstood in light of modern day feminism. After watching this video about hair (I have the same type of fine hair too), I just want to express how appreciative I am for your advice. I'm 20, and in a way, you feel like the older sister I never had. :D
As gorgeous as you are, you are so relatable! I have struggled with my hair most of my life, for different reasons, but I can so relate. What I’ve taken from this and some of your other videos is “whatever is broke, fix it.” Do whatever it takes to make your hair look it’s absolute best and spare no expensive in doing so. If that means extensions or any other extremes then so be it. Some of us were just born with great hair and others have to work a little harder to make it so.
WOW! I thought that was all your real hair! It looks nice
Fine hair can be gorgeous too!! The texture is always soft, gorgeous, and feminine, even though it may be a bit thin. I actually had a lot of hair insecurity until I got my hair cut into a long bob. The ends look a lot better and my hair as a whole seems much fuller.
I have fine AND thin hair, it is a struggle. I work out everyday so I HAVE to wash it everyday. Oh and I have a cowlick on my crown!! It could always be worse.
Sarah Smile girl SAME! my hair is about shoulder length right now. it’s so thin and fine (probably 1/2 inch ponytail circumference) and I have this stupid cowlick on the front of my head so my hair never lays nicely in the front 😭
I feel you... i have really really thin hair that is also baby fine and the stupid cowlick on my crown that makes it look like i have a bald spot 🙃 i have just accepted that my hair will always be horrible and cover it with hats lol
@@lulisalulaid girl I have that same cow lick, plus my roots are blonde so it makes the spot look even worse LOL
I'm so sorry but cowlick is such a funny word I've been giggling for five minutes 🐄
I have the exact same situation with my hair and I wore them long all my life. One day I cut it all short and they lifted and look amazing.
I strongly advise to do that preferably in some french fringe style and I know that doesn't suit everyone and that there are limited things you can do with them later on in terms of hairstyles but like with everything it can't be all positives. And it's easier and quicker to dry if you need to wash them everyday like me. Also I don't use shampoo but wash with conditioners something that makes them stay clean and sleeker for longer time and my scalp is in a better condition than before.
Cheer up, dear girls, there is always something you can do.
There’s something actually pretty about baby fine blonde hair. Really! That picture you showed - you looked super cute
Thank you for this video. My mom never believed me when I told her that thin hair has struggles. I am Peruvian and I look like my dad & I really was so disappointed with my long thin hair so I cut it last year till the shoulders. And now it looks better than before. Has more volume, looks thicker & it's growing nicely.
Yes! I also have fine hair. The struggle is real! We must moisturize more than other hair types and be so gentle
I think your hair is beautiful, simple, & elegant. I love what you had done!!
i also have fine hair and i understand what you mean. my hair is very curly so its easy for me to make it look fuller, but i always wear extensions when i straighten my hair. Your extensions look very natural and your hair looks beautiful
Ahh same, I have curly wavy hair but it is so fine, but I manage to make it look thicker because I have a lot of volume
Anna I know you think your main look (to the side and curled) is boring, but honestly, I could never get bored looking at it because it suits you so well! It's like your signature. Please don't rush to change it, you look gorgeous girl! 💜
Don't hate your hair love yourself no matter what God bless everyone amen 🙏
Oh my goodness I so understand your struggle. I too have so many issues since my hair is baby fine and breaks so easily! Thank you for your video and by the way, you are absolutely lovely and stunning!
I was surprised and rather comforted by your hair struggles. My hair is identical to yours, and it is a daily frustration. However your hair and appearance is so lovely, I would never have thought your hair was fine/thin. It gives me hope that my hair can look as beautiful as yours!
Oh! I never would have guessed. I thought wow she has great hair and that's about it. Thanks so much for the info. I have the same thin fine hair and I never thought I could get extensions. I saw girls at clubs with it but they A. always had a layered look in the front and B. made it too long and obviously fake. Yours looks beautiful.
I have the same hair type as yours, and I have always felt unsatisfied with myself because of that. Thank you for this video. I have more confidence in my hair now. 💕
Love love love you for your candid conversation! You are so inspiring !!
This is why i like you, Anna. You are very honest about what you did to have that look.
This is me. Your hair situation is identical to mine. 23 years and I am done. I actually booked 2 days ago and questioned it a few hours ago, upon binge watching your videos came across this video and this reassured me.
Such a great video. I have exactly the same problem! I have had extensions now for over two years and never looked back! No one can tell as they look so natural and it has boosted my confidence enormously.
I have never related to a youtube video so much before. My best friend since childhood has had this head full of thick, gorgeous raven hair that she can style in beautiful buns, braids, etc, etc. I’ve always been so envious!
I really love your channel. Although I am much older than your target audience, I get so much value from each video. You have timelessly classic good taste, honesty, and are absolutely perfect without any negativity. Such a positive role model for the young women is good to know, with the timeless beauty and knowledge for a woman my age....you are a treasure.
Hair strength: Horsetail + B1 + marine collagen (type 1&3) supplements
I recommended this to a friend and she managed to grow her hair longer than ever
Keep doing amazing Anna 💕I have been following jetsetbabe since the start and I am so happy to see your growth. Lots of love
A c yes that’s spot on advice. I’d also add silica supplements and kerastase jeunesse serum spray. I have the same hair type. Stress made me lose half my hair. Six months of silica, fish oil supplements and kerastase jeunesse serum, I went back to the same high end London stylist who had seen me virtually bald and he said he’d never seen results as good in his 20 year career - he was dying to know what I did, I had so much baby hair and reversed it. So lucky. But now I’m stressed and need to do this again...haha
Thank you so much much for this video I also struggle with all of these issues. im in middle school and im self conscious about it and there is nobody at my school i can rly talk about it with who who wont tell me what im doing wrong with my hair. Its refreshing to finally be able to relate to someone who actually has my hair type and understands
Also your extensions look so natural
Hi!
I tell you what saved me :D Try it for yourself:)
Google "curly girl method"
It is a method designed for curly haired people because curly hair can be really dry and easy to break. It's not a problem if you have bone straight hair, you can try it, but you might find out that your hair is actually more curly than you thought. Eighter way, you can use the method and wear straight hair because fine hair does what you want to do with it. After washing I just brush it gently instead of scrunching up if I want straight, leave it as is if I want wavy and scrunch it if I want curly.
The whole method is about not using sulfates silicones and heat (basically you check the back of the bottle and if you see sulfate, or anything ending with "cone" you put it back on the shelf. you do not have to buy the expensive divacurl stuff)
Wash your hair as little as possible, if your hair gets oily in a day (i have been there, now it lasts a week) train your hair by not washing it for 1 or two days extra. You can get away wearing hats braids and ponytails.
Omg omg omg!!!! This is so me!!! My hair exactly. I tried everything even wigs 😭 hair is so important. I had to work on “loving” my hair for years and accepting it the way it is. Now that I finally accepted me, I will try your method and love my hair even more
Oh my!! you're looking sooo sophisticated and elevated with sleek hair!!!!
You should try the hidden crown hair piece ! Its revolutionary! Way easier than normal extensions to put on and it looks great ! You can style it too! Love you Anna
Omg my hair is the same
Same color and thickness
I thought there is no hope for me
Thank you for sharing ❤️
I can relate 😭 my hair is very thin, greasy and tangles a lot. Your hair extensions look great! Maybe I'll try in the future
Alejandra Leyva Same here! It’s so difficult to find products and stylists that don’t ruin it. 😔
Wow my hair is the same! Its so enlighting to see someone struggle the same. My hair is thin and fine, a true 1A. Its always see through, and volume is a pipe dream
I seriously needed this video. I have always struggled with my hair and I have absolutely hated it, people comment on it saying it is so damaged and thin. I never realised that it was just my blonde fine hair which is prone to greasiness and split ends. I used to think I was doing my hair care wrong. I don’t have the money to buy £30 hair products and there is nothing I can do.
I love this kind of videos so relaxing
I have the same hair type as you and managed to grow it the same length as you have with extensions! But like you mentioned in the video, it only happened after completely stopping coloring my hair and using heat on it hah :D Took 3 years as it grows so slow but it doesn't seem to stop growing now that I don't do much with it... Also natural hair care products all the way! But with that, it also took me some years to find suitable products that actually work
I stopped coloring my hair and it made a huge difference. You have pretty natural hair.
Can you do a video on how to care for the Extentions? I neeeeed them but I’m so scared I’ll lose my hair
Lovely video- sincere and to the point teacher Anna! ok you look like a model , you are aloud to have a hair problem...lol! but you fixed that too!i can give you some of my hair!!xxx
My hair is exactly yours!!! I'm Irish and we either have full blown thick hair or thin fine hair ...
This really helped me. Thank you. Do you have a full on hair routine video up??
I like your channel. I know this vod was posted long ago...but I'm a fine haired girl too... dont know what to DO anymore and so I looked it up and here you are ❣ I understand the frustration so well
love your honesty my hair is thin and sparse and always has been, I'm trying so hard to grow it as i get the itchiest head from extensions, yours look beautiful
HI. I have fine hair. Try jamaican castor oil: a few drops at night massaged into the scalp and at the ends. Wash as usual in the morning. I like adding lavender essential oil to make the oil smell great.. so thats is a luxurious treatment, not a bother. It thickens the strand , increases hair growths and stops split ends. Its amazing :) You will love this!
I swear it's like listening to myself talking here, I can fully relate to everything you said!
I am so glad I’ve found out about Victorian era rag curls. Doing it that way, and sleeping on them is the only way my hair stays curled without hair spray. Because of how thin my hair is, I don’t like to use heat on it at all, or products like hairspray. When I was young I damaged my hair super bad! My mom also has quite a bit of hair loss now because of all the perms and styling she does.
I found your channel while searching for solution for my baby fine slavic hair. TY for sharing.
Hi :) This will be a bit random but try the "curly girl method" if you want straight hair just comb it instead of schrunching and you are fine. it's good for dryness and breakage
I know exactly what you are talking about ! I struggle with the same problems! The one thing I find it made a difference is the silk turban from Silke London ... I wear it at night to protect the hair from rubbing against the pillowcase
I went for a whole year without using any products/heat/color (it was a new year's resolution)... i completed left it alone, it made my hair stronger but nothing noticeable that made my hair looks better. ♡♡♡
Wow! Both hairstyles look beautiful!💕
I can relate! Also, we should never let hair extensions become a taboo topic, this is ridiculous that anyone would think it’s something to hide
Youre so right, we do see it as taboo its bizarre! Hopefully people will become more open minded. Good for You, you look amazing 🌹
Oh, thank you! I have the same hair type. I've tried not washing for about three days and I thought it was just me! I really can't make it past two days without washing even though all the ladies around me are on thought to wash once per week! I also found it interesting when you mentioned it just won't grow. Again, I thought it was just me! ❤️
My natural hair is also very fine. I end up having to wash it every day which is a pain!
You look fantastic by the way 🥰
I have found that using “pure corn starch” baby powder, in my hair, when I go between washing my hair, helps my hair look thicker, fuller and styled, better than the day I wash my hair and style it! The pure corn starch is what makes this such an amazing help for your hair, if you need to or would like to go a few days to a week, without washing your hair! And your hair will look even better than when you first wash it!
There are a few things I will point out about this though, so it doesn’t look like you have anything in your hair!
You can do this within 5 minutes, probably not even reading the rest of what I say, but I just wanted to be as thorough as possible, for you, if you want to read on.... 🙂
Tip #1 The biggest tip is make sure it is pure corn starch baby powder, not just baby powder or whatever!
Tip #2 Do this before you dress for the day. Or cover your cloths with a towel before putting in your hair.
Tip #3 Sprinkle a little bit of corn starch baby powder into your hands and move it around in your hands, coating your open palms 🤲 this will help prevent too much of the powder at once and making your hair look like you have powder in your hair or aged instantly looking like gray hair!
Tip #4 Flip your head down, and first lightly run your fingers, then hands through your hair, from the back of your neck, up behind your ears, gently through your hair to your scalp, then sprinkle a little more into your hands, rub into your palms of your hands(again, your open hands 🤲 should look lightly dusted, not poured on powder to avoid too much). Then run your fingers through the front of your hair, gently toward your scalp, and gently running your fingers toward your scalp, very lightly with your fingers only, massage toward your scalp again, from back of hair toward sides, and front( all while hair is flipped over, looking down.
Tip #5 Avoid putting on ends of your hair, where hair isn’t where it’s needle and can unnecessarily dry out ends. Instead, you should have little bit at a time massaged toward your scalp, where oil would be. The corn starch powder absorbs the oil and helps your hair not only look clean, but you now will have body in your hair! Your hair will look thicker, fuller and style better than you could ever before! This is great for thin hair!!!
Tip #6 with flipped over hair first, gently brush through your hair, to your scalp, and then flip your hair back standing up straight, looking in a mirror, brush through your the front of your hair, and all over, from underneath to however you normally would brush your hair. Check around your beck, ears, forehead for any tiny amount of powder, your can just rub it in and if you’ve been careful to not use too much, this corn starch baby powder amazingly rubs in so nicely (better than regular powder) but if you want to, you can take a moist edge of a washcloth and go over your neck, ears and face. If you notice you need to do this, you might have used too much, so check through your hair, running your hands through your hair around scalp, like you’re barely touching, but massaging around scalp, this is only if you notice under good lighting in the mirror that you can see any excess powder! If so massage, brush, use your hands all through your hair from scalp outward, through all your hair.
* I am sure this looks like too much of a long, drawn out thing to do! It’s not!! It’s just that I am trying to be as thorough as possible! Most important thing is use “pure corn starch” baby power! It is the curb starch that is smooth and doesn’t fly all over like regular baby powder. You can go days using this trick, and amazingly, your hair will look better each day that goes by, easier to fold your style, you will have fuller, thicker looking hair that might not even need anything but gently running your fingers through or brushing and your good to go for the day! I use to wash my hair every day and couldn’t stand not to have clean hair, because my hair like Anna said, hers is, thin, and tends to get oily( well less now the older I get), but I tell you this is better than dry shampoo or anything else, in fact, like I said, your hair will look better days after, even a week by using this, and if you need to or want to wash your hair fewer times, ( it’s actually better for your hair, especially if your hair is color treated etc.)! Just a little reapplying each day, only if needed, but it’s so easy, it only takes 5 minutes if that! Let me know how it works for you if you try it! 🙎♀️🙎🏽♀️🙎🏻♀️ If you have darker hair, again just make sure you rub corn starch baby powder all into your hands, before running your fingers through your hair, lightly parting your hair with your fibers spread out toward your scalp, very gently massage and brush through your hair. Hope this helps!
What brand you use ?
I’m half Swedish and half Australian. I have really straight, blonde hair. This was very helpful and informative! I have felt like I was the only one struggling with this issue of greasy hair. Turns out I’m not alone! 😆💕
I’m the same! Seeing other girls with naturally thick long hair makes me feel so sad about my hair, which is long but soo thin :(
I noticed my hair has gotten thicker though since taking the vitabiotics hair gummies! My boyfriend commented on how my hair looked thicker! I would give them a go, the extra vitamins seem to be helping
You look perfect with these long hair!i love you❤️
I think that straight hair makes your facestructure pop beautifulness 👌 everything looks balanced and your faceshape shines glamour ❤
Ana, I have the same problem due to medication. My lifesaver or rather hair saver, a clip on ponytail. Heat styleable if you wish,. I wear myne in a bun or braid and it looks perfect. No heat on my own hair. Perfect with lots of compliments.
Dear Anna, actually you look amazing with straight hair, it enhances vere much your face!
Anna, you are so great!! Lots of love❤
Can you please do a video on dealing with fuzzy hair? My hair is fine, long, curly and rather beautiful except for this constant stubborn frizz (lots, not just a little) that will de-polish my look no matter what else I do with myself. Thank you so much - you have such a wonderful channel for the elegant style.
Girl, I also have fine hair and I decided to embrace it and cut it off. Now I love bob styles with layers. I look younger and fresher. I can assure you I've received more compliments since I embraced bob style than before with my long and thin style, but if you can't live without your long hair, you have done it well. You rock those extensions!
I can relate soooo much to this. I have the same problems with my hair but on top of having fine hair which breaks and gets greasy so quickly it also gets tangled a lot 😬
Thank you for this video and sharing your hair struggles so openly and being vulnerable about it, Anna. It really isn't easy having these issues and trying one's utmost to look and feel your best everyday. To some extend I can relate - I have thin hair, but lots of hair with a natural curl and I understand the greasiness and need to wash my hair everyday. So a tip that works really well to combat the daily washing, is to sprinkle some unscented baby powder to my roots and brush/blend it in with my hands. It has the same and even better effect than dry shampoo and is a much cheaper solution! Adding baby powder to your hair significantly reduces the amount of washes per week. Hope this helps.☺💆🏼💁🏼💚🌿
Love your videos! My hair looks exactly same as yours without extantions 😭 can you make a video about how you style your hair after you washed them? xx
Look up Nutrafol and take collagen protein. I have the same (German) baby fine hair and it has grown 6 inches in a year. It will help you immensely.
thank you for talking about fine hair struggles!!
Please do a video on your skincare and makeup as well. ... you’re amazing
I have the EXACT same hair situation. I have permanent extensions since many years, thank God for those because they saved my looks. But still, as you mentioned, I can only style them as you do, some curls and on the side. Btw you are a stunning and elegant lady xx
You literally verbalised all of my issues that i’ve been dealing with for so long. Our hair type and length is exactly the same and i’ve been using extensions for many years. I love volume and thus it takes ages to give my hair a proper blow dry. In spite of that, i never considered lessening the amount of my extensions cuz they already lessen and gets rough as the time goes by. I see my hairstylist at least once in 3 or 4 weeks for my roofs&extensions . In between days if my hair gets problematic, i make a natural hair mask and STRONGLY believe that it makes a huge difference. Add some lavender oil to yellow part of the egg. Mix it and apply to your roots Anna. The nourishment and volume is gonna be amazing! I know egg smells terrible but lavender oil can really compensate for it. If you can wait approximately 40 min with mask, you will see the difference as soon as you washed it.i’m a platinum blonde for several years and even my hair started to grow!
Omg totally understand you 🙌 Same problem. Dry shampoo helps at times.
Hello Anna, I too have fine Slavic hair (I am Croatian), though it is naturally curly, which helps with some semblance of volume. However, as with you, it does not grow beyond the length of my shoulders. What has helped me is taking collagen powder, and also cold pressed Cod Liver oil. It may not sound quite appetizing, but it works wonderfully! My hair has become shiny, and I have had quite a lot of new hair growth 🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️ x
I'm of Balkan background too and have the same fine curly hair. It's honestly such a pain.
As a black woman, we also have lots of trouble with our hair. What I do now is to have a hair regime. I user a brand called Keracare and also take Hairtamin. Check out Hairtamin. I ordered it from the US and it has done wonders for my hair. My hair is healthier, longer and stronger. Good luck 😉
I have really fine hair too, and I always watch videos made for your hair texture :D
Before I've found the curly girl method I have learned a bunch of stuff from them because here in Europe people say stuff like "shampoo twice condition once and you will be fine" and a lot of people don't even use conditioner no wonder my hair looked that bad. Here people don't really know about deep conditioning and a lot of them think 1 hair mask can change 10 years of damage.
btw I live in Hungary
👍 I might need to give keracare another try, its been years since I used it and I did love the feel. I'm a black woman with fine hair and I cant get longer than shoulder length 😑
Slavic hair...the struggle is real. I'm with you on this sister. I have a weird question though. What happens if you have a date that wants to run his hands in your hair behind your head, like if he went to kiss you? Would he feel the keratin bonds? As for the greasiness, dry shampoo works well.
The only reason I ask is because I had a friend with extensions and once she wanted me to do her hair. I remember them feeling like the quill at the top of a feather. When her hair was down, you couldn't tell she had them on. When she wanted to wear her hair up, we had to be more strategic. I was just wondering if their have been different technologies introduced since then.
Thats a really good question!! .. i'd rather have a man or child be able to stroke my hair with no embarrassment than wear something that will cause me to push them away. . .thanks for bringing up that point! 👍
Brianna B 👍
I wonder how embarrassing it would be for somebody when in a relationship (especially when married or conjugal), when their other half realizes that their woman's hair is all fake and of course she looks like a different person without all the extensions. No one likes being lied to... I think that all types of hair are fine as long as they are well maintained and properly cut/trimmed. I also think that if one accepts and loves their hair as it is, it will boost their self confidence.
@@MeL-ho9eq ... well said 👍
Finally a video about this. I have babyfine thin Swedish hair so terrible! Thx for this video!
I’m so glad I found you and this video! I’m 14 and I am so frustrated with my hair, it’s so thin! But I am trying to come to peace with my hair though. Don’t get me wrong I love my hair! But I just can’t do the hairstyles my friends do :/
Damn that's the toughest! Since the time you wrote this I bet you're in high school now. I hope you're still making peace with yourself. In middle and high school, my hair always looked so bad that compared to other girls that it looked like I never fully learned how to style my hair after 10 years of staring at the perfect popular girls in the hallway. I'm sure you've experienced this. Hah! As IF I never got a clue... 😐 I had the capacity to do the hairstyles, but the results never looked like they were done right because genetics. If you're overweight and your face is big, your hair looks even worse proportionally, so gosh, way to make your self-esteem shoot through the roof. 🙄

I got to college and started to let go and say "f it." Then my boyfriend privately and gently let me know that my ponytail just doesn't look good. This situation doesn't really get better. When kids become adults, they don't just magically start judging others less than before. The healing process starts by realizing that society will never embrace you in this very specific way and it's time to figure out how to hide it. Hang in there. Do what you can. Hopefully my anecdote brings some camaraderie to your heart.
Love your honesty. It makes your channel unique!!
Dry shampoo for greasy hair.
Mix water with few drops of rosemary essential oil and spray the hair, it'll help with thickening the hair 🤞🏻
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING 🔥
you should do a makeup tutorial!
You are so well spoken and articulate
It’s nice that you have the option for the waves/curls or straight - but both look nice. Sometimes you get more movement with the hair just by shortening very little.
Feel you so much on this ... fine blonde straight hair is soooo hard to work with. AG Haircare ‘The Oil’ is the best hair oil for fine FINE hair. No weigh down ☺️
Dry shampoo for fine hair! It's how I got my hair to stop producing so much oil. The more you wash the more oil you produce, it's supply and demand. Now I can wash 2 or 3 times a week instead of every day. Thank you for the tip on Russian Virgin hair being of a finer texture. Now I know what extensions to get if I need to. Loved this video!
Be careful bc dry shampoo damage the scalp so much :( well for me it did, I have a sensitive skin so that's why. For short term it seems great option, but for long term you will have consequences
it will keep growing. I have fine, thin hair and have it past my butt. You have to treat it like gold. It WILL grow.
MayorOfMoetown how do you treat it like gold?
actually, there is a thing as maximum length because the individual hairs have a lifespan. after that, it just falls out. so if it grows fast it can grow pretty long, one of my friends has past butt length hair too, but mine never grew past my boobs and I've been growing it all my life, most of the time with no heat, moisturized, braided a lot so it does not have the chance to break. I have tried hair oils, protective styles, different methods...
Even when I had no breakage it did not grow.
About two years ago I got a long bob and it grew back to the same length pretty quickly, but not past that
Aksana LUKASHENKA, no sulfates and silicones. No heat. Protective hair styles. Silk pillow case. Natural hair oils (none of that crap with mineral oil mixed in). Buy oil in its pure form.
@@aks8398 What I do is comb it very carefully. Always take your time and start at the bottom. Any time I am free, I cover my hair in coconut oil, cover it with a plastic bag and a silk bonnet over that. Wash it in cool water. If you use a hairdryer, use it on the warm setting..not hot. If you use any heat tools, use a heat protectant. I sleep with a silk bonnet on too so my hair does not rub against the pillows or get pulled during sleep. Just treat it like it is something precious that you dont want harmed. Also, after a trim use these steps of care for your hair so you dont have to cut spit ends off again for many months.
Every person has a different maximum length her hair will grow before the follicle releases the strand & begins to grow a new one.
Beautiful before and after!!!
Hello, Anna! My name is Vera, I am from Russia. I am totally agree with you about hair extensions, it's a life saver for girls, who naturally have thin hair. Ten years ago, when I was 19, I wore extensions about half an a year and then I felt confidently about my beauty and I could style my hair whatever I wanted. I also wore an indian hair, as in your past experience, and it wasn't a perfect honestly. But despite that it was good. Your video reminded me, how gorgeous I looked then, so I plan to extend my hair one more time, but pick a slavic hair in this time :) Thanks, Anna, and I am waiting for your new videos :)
I have fine hair too! I’m fortunate that I don’t need to color my hair. I wash my hair every other day, and I simply rinse my hair on my non-wash days. I work out a lot and sweat, but rinsing my hair in the shower helps the oils from the scalp get distributed throughout the hair follicles. Then I style/blow-dry as usual. I just use my fingers during the blow-dry. Give the rinse-out a try and let me know what you think. Best to you!
Im finish and Chinese and i always thought that my fine hair i got from my Asian side but now I’m thinking that it would be my finish side! It so flustering not being able to hold a curl!
Definitely take biotin daily, eat foods rich in vitamins eggs spinach olive oil, use shampoos with less chemicals such as sulfates, do daily hair masks, get your daily trim from split ends. Also use hot oil such as olive oil and massage your scalp for 5-10 minutes and it helps bring blood flow!
I think you don't get the point of her video. I know you meant to help her, but it's exactly like giving advice to someone who suffers from acne. Some things and processes in your body you can't control. She might have a better diet than any of us, I think she already does what you suggest her to do. If a person has fine hair, no pills and no diet can change that.
Sorry but I had to say that because I have thin hair as well and it always offends me when people don't get the struggle.
If someone has naturally thin or fine hair they can't change it.
@@samanthacor7589 this is kind of like the oh if you do squats daily you'll get a big butt thing, or gain weight you get boobs, like yea it might help but only to a point our bodies just have a limit
Vitamins wont give you thicker hair strands. The genes decide the thickness of your hair strands. But vitamin do help with keeping your hair strong, healthy and growing normally. But fine haired girls will always struggle with tangly hair and breakage more than others
Though diet can help taking supplements on top of a healthy diet is kinda silly. And neither diet or hair treatments can fix genetics
