Faith without works is dead. Eternal security is not exactly as clear in the Bible as you think it might be. Plenty of times people in the Bible are warned they might lose their salvation.

I appreciate the reply. Let’s unpack your comment a bit. The notion that James 2:26 (“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”) contradicts Paul’s teaching of justification by faith (Romans 5, Galatians 2) is Biblically inconsistent. Paul and James are complementary in their understanding and explanation that faith is not justified by works (see James 2:21), nor is work the root of faith, but rather, works are a natural overflow of true faith.
Also, it’s important that when making statements like “people are warned they might lose salvation,” you can point to specific places in scripture for expanded discussion. Otherwise, it becomes merely an opinion of what you think the Bible says. We need to be more interested in what it actually says, in context.
The security of salvation ultimately rests on the finished work of Jesus and justification by faith alone in Him. This removes the necessity of works as a means of inheriting the kingdom. But the beauty of the works that come out of our faith is even more enhanced by the grace of Jesus.

All of the verses sited in this video are good, they speak of God’s role in our salvation and sanctification. However, those verses are not talking about eternal security or whatever it’s called, they are speaking of God’s faithfulness and strength. It is true that nothing can snatch us out of His hands, because God is all powerful. Like a husband and wife for example, the husband promises the wife that no one will take her away, speaking of someone outside that relationship. But if the wife’s heart becomes unfaithful, the husband has already lost her. God is saying that no one can snatch us out of His mighty hand, not even Satan himself. But if someone chooses to walk away, God is not saying He will force anyone to remain. It is a relationship we have with God in Christ.

Where? Hebrews 10 may very well be about destruction of the temple and the fire that would come on Jerusalem, not hell and losing salvation. Hebrews 6 as well. I've seen in depth Greek scholar studies that debunk the ideas that those chapters speak of people losing salvation.

@@brokengirl8619 Just want to make sure we are talking about the same verse Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES. Is this right?

Good discussion, but if one takes those verses out of context, then it can sounds exactly how you are describing it. Here's a different perspective.
Hebrews 10:19-39 encourages believers to stay close to God and trust Him completely. It reminds us to keep our faith strong because God is trustworthy and always keeps His promises. The passage encourages us to help each other to love and do good things, meeting regularly to support and encourage one another. Remember who the audience is contextually.
It warns against turning away from God after knowing the truth, emphasizing that rejecting Jesus' sacrifice has serious consequences (not that we lose salvation, but that consequences of sin in the life of a believer cause extreme strife) . The text ends by urging believers to keep their faith and endure tough times, promising that God rewards those who remain faithful and follow His will.
Here are some other cross reference scriptures that support Hebrews 10
Staying close to God and trusting Him
      - James 4:8: "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you."
      - Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
      Helping and encouraging one another
      - Galatians 6:2: "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."
      - 1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
      Warnings against turning away
      - 2 Peter 2:20-21: "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them."
      Persevering in faith
      - James 1:12: "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
      - Romans 5:3-4: "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
