I put my eyeshadow palettes on in a small bookshelf, all lined up like books. Much easier to organise and see. Maybe you could hang a curtain on the front to hide them, or something like a shelving unit with a door, like we all used to have for videos and DVDs.
i always love seeing how people organize their makeup because i feel like i'm always switching my setup around trying to figure out the most functional way 😂
I feel like I SHOULD be doing that! Instead, I find one solution and kind of get stuck there for like a decade. 😆
When you re-do your beauty room, you should find a way to display those PR boxes ypu kept b/c they are works of art!

I always get jealous of people who have lovely bookshelves filled with palettes!
@GlitterFallout you could put a mix of your memorabilia and palletes. (PR Boxes, the Rubix cube...😆) Doesn't have to be a big bookcase either. 😊🥰
Thanks so much for the beauty room tour! Love seeing how everyone organizes things. I do have a genuine question for you though. How do you go about collecting things that you use in a look, or when just doing your own makeup? Inquiring minds...😉
What's funny is that when I'm doing my makeup, you'll just hear that HORRIBLE screech of each drawer being opened, usually multiple times per drawer, in quick succession. So it must sound like an orchestra of awful in there. But I just go through each drawer and stare for a while til I find the perfect thing!
@@GlitterFallout thanks for sharing! I have all my palettes in drawers, but all the other things are handy. In my mind I was thinking like a shower caddy type of product collector. Love looking at other people's storage.

Very helpful video! I desperately need cabinet storage, in lieu of portable, but haven't the room. Would pretty much give a lung for a dedicated makeup room.
I'm not going to lie - that was something so special to me that I do NOT take for granted. But don't underestimate the power of portable storage! Makeup rolling cases used to be my best friend.

Omg!!! That is an expensive powder and for my lid to fall off-pissed! And, I’ve heard that it’s happened to a lot of people. Ugh! 😑
