Professor Drex thank you.
Super cool! I had no idea about the archer weave, but now I can do it!
thx for archer
I love playing with weaves! Especially turning my body while i do them to switch forwards/backwards and splitting them (pulling my hands apart) on the sides.
Even though I learned many years ago, they are still a staple in my choreographies. That's the skill which helped me realise one can do quite a nice dance with just one trick.
Waistwraps are a huge staple of my own flow as well! I use them constantly and I'm glad to hear that you do, too!
I fully expected pulse weaves to be in this one, but I do see why the other ones made it to the list instead. :)
I feel that weaves are not only great for learning various principles but also provide kind of a comfort space. A place to go to an rest when losing 'control' mid flow.
Love these showcase style videos ❤
Thanks so much! I love pulse weaves, too, but I think all these other moves have a lot more practical value!
I love seeing this and so need to learn the ailen weave, metor 3 beat weave and the isolated weave. Already know the 3 beat weave and the archer weave.
Outstanding! Glad I could help to broaden your horizons!
Ok, Alien and isolated are next :D. I just managed meteor, but mostly just in reverse (towards me), but it's gonna be a while before I perform it with fire :D. Thanks to you I learned a lot, thank you for another great inmspiration
"Just as easily"? Aw, heck no! I have never managed to get odd beats on a meteor weave. It's two or four all the way. Fixing that would make a great tutorial video. (I suggested that to Nick Woolsey many years ago, but he couldn't do 3-beat meteors either....)
❤❤
🙏🙏
If you do a 11 beat weave you will end up making a basket.
Maybe someone with more flexible shoulders than me, but I sure won't. That's a trip to the ER for me. 😉
