Not when it came to Renee & Benjy, he let his firstborn son Andre get away with murdering his other children Renee, Benjy and he attempted to kill Tony & EJ. Also Andre is the reason Lexie is dead but I have a feeling they will recast her eventually. Also he did nothing to Larry Welch after Welch killed Stefano's other daughter Megan Hathaway. I believed he loved his kids to a point but would discard them for his own selfish needs.
@@BrandonCassaday Benjy's death still pisses me off. I don't know why I've never realized it before, but you're right. Andre's killed (or attempted to kill) off a lot of his siblings. He's also tried to marry Kristen twice (as Tony). Apparently he thinks he's the only DiMera blood allowed. Chad, Johnny and Sydney better watch their backs.

It's funny you say this because up until Stefano "died" (for good), Reneé's death was still a sore subject that when Tony mentioned it sarcastically back in 2008, he literally slapped the taste out of Tony's mouth.
Does anyone have the video of Days of our Lives when Renee DiMera had the party and was murdered afterwards? I first saw the episode when I was 12 and ever since I saw it, is my favorite piece of TV ever. It is no longer on CZcams and I am looking to find it. Renee's soliloquy was powerful and sad and the screen just shook.
Wasn't it later revealed that Andre was Stefano's son? It never made sense that Stefano let him get away with killing Renee so this change in storyline would actually make sense.
@@monte68x No. Andre was never his son. Andre also murdered Benjamin, too, and Stefano didn’t care. That’s when the character of Stefano became a cartoon.
@@travisjames3517 They've been very inconsistent with this. Andre was originally Tony's cousin that Stefano had undergo plastic surgery to look exactly like Tony. Tony was originally Stefano's son but then it was revealed that Daphne had an affair with "the gardener" and that was Tony's bio dad. I think this was also later changed. I remember Benji as a kid with Steve and Kayla but I wasn't watching when they brought him back.
I miss Stefano, just hearing his voice again, makes me smile. Rest in Peace, Joseph (Stefano) and Philece (Renee).
